Je prépare mon premier voyage avec mes amis pour aller à casablanca de fin juin à debut juillet, mais ni connaisant absolument rien à l'organisation d'un tel voyage je vous demande votre aide car j'ai plusieurs question auxquels je n'arrive pas à répondre et je pense quand m'adressant à des personnes qui sont plutot expert en voyage je trouverais mais réponses...
Tout d'abord nous avons eu un appartement a préter la bas donc de ce coté la pas de soucis mais il est a 40km du centre : pensez vous qu'une voiture à louer la abs et une bonne idée ou vaut-il mieux prendre les taxis car parait-il les routes sont vraiment dangereuses...?
Ensuite nous i allons tous en avions et j'ai trouvée un billet avec la compagnie Iberia qui est vraiment pas trop cher? mais ne mi connaissant pas est ce que c'est une bonne compagnie pas de prob de retard ou quoi que ce soit parce que à voir il y a des correspondances .. de plus comment savoir et eest-il vraiment nécessaire que ce soit un vol régulier?
Et également pour savoir si vous savez à peu prés le budget nouriture qu'il faut prendrela ba?
Si vous avez des suggestions pour une inexpérimentés telle que moi qui pourront m'aider elles sont vraiments les bienvenus ainsi que des bllees choses là bas à visiter car il y en a telment que je ne sais pas ce qui est vriamnet incontournable..

Bon je te parle un peu sur la ville de Casablanca c'est la ville ou je suis née, comme ça tu va avoir une idée sur ma city, Casablanca, c'est un peu petit Paris, trop d'embouteillage, pollution, très peuplé... a mon avis c'est pas une bonne destination pour passé d'agréable vacance.
Mais n'empêche que tu peux passé 2, ou 3 jours dans les villes a coté, comme Marrakech a 2h en autoroute, rabat 1h, Essaouira a 3h30 de route, el Jadida a 1h de route, mouhemadia a 45min, fes a 3h ...
mais le logement que vous allez prêter a 40km du centre ville, c'est un peu loin, essaye de te renseigner du quartier ou se trouve la maison, comme ça je te donne ample d'informations, vaux mieux louer une voiture, les taxi ça revient cher puis a la période d'été, on se déplace trop puisque c'est les vacances, le tourisme local + touriste étrangers et d'emigret donc la galère pour trouver un taxi, puis fait le calcule 40km en taxi c'est pas évident, je pense que c'est plus cher que ton billet d'avion pour te déplace a la maison ou bien au centre ville lol
Une voiture de location ça coûte 30 euro 35euro/j tu va bien visité la ville quand tu as un moyen de transport, ainsi des petits séjours dans les villes a coté comme j'ai cité au début, les routes elles sont dangereuse, mais faut être prévoyant tout simplement, en tout cas personne nul n'est a l'abri d'un accident, alors pense pas trop a se point
Quoi voir a Casa !! La mosquée hassane 2, la 3éme plus grande mosquée au Monde, houbouss l'ancienne ville de Casa, la corniche, ou ya des cafés au bord de la mer, des piscines au bord de la mer et des boites de nuit ....
Maarif la nouvelle casa, des boutiques de marque des cafés ...
Les plages
La nourriture c'est pas cher au Maroc, je peut pas te donner un budget précis, mais par exemple un menu big mac chez Macdonald’S a 4euro
Sandwich viande haché dans un snack 15 dhs = 1.20euro
Sinon pour le billet d'avion regarde atlasblue ou jet4you fait la comparaison avec ce que tu as déjà trouver

prenez le rythme du pays. Vous avez un appartement, regardez sur la carte comment aller à la mer, car Casa à part la mosquée Bouygues c'est une ville grouillante comme le dise tes correspondants Marocains!
C'est avant tout les gens qui'l faut connaitre, puis les paysages et enfin les monuments, mais pour vous il y en aura peu ! Prenez le temps de vivre là où vous êtes et les autochtones sauront vous dire ce qu'il faut faire !
La location de voiture semble préférable, mais ce sera une location locale qu'il faudrait négocier avant (vous ne trouverez qu'une location de France à prendre et à rendre à Casa, et à mon avis plus cher que localement, il y a beaucoup de loueurs mais ce ne sont que des intermédiaires qui n'ont pas necessairement la voiture sur place ! essayez de voir avec votre le propriétaire de la maison s'il ne peut pas s'occuper de la réservatin du vehicule !

Pour se déplacer en voiture de location ou en Taxi/bus, il y’a pas beaucoup de différence..Puisque les 2 moyens sont possibles..
Choses à visitées ??? Déjà Casablanca, cette ville conne par ce jolie nom, par le fameux film de années 40, Il y’a la grande mosquée qui constitue la curiosité N° 1 de la ville, ensuite il y’a les places, et la veille ville..
Mais avidement de Casa tu peux te déplacer vers Fes, la plus ancien ville du pays datant du 9 Siècle (autoroute 2h30mn)..Tu as aussi à moins d’1 h Rabat (une très belle ville 12 siècle (Chellah, Kasbah Oudaya, Palais royal)). A 1h aussi par autoroute tu as la ville d’El Jadida (Ex Mazagan) connue par ses fortifications portugaises et la citerne…

- Why do so many people recommend avoiding international agencies for car rentals? Can anyone explain why?
- Is Booking.com reliable, and has anyone rented a vehicle through their service? There’s a pretty big price difference compared to local Moroccan agencies.
- Is there a detailed road map included in the rental car?
- Is Google Maps enough to get around the High Atlas? This will be my first trip there.

I’ve read through the various discussions about the country, but I’m still a bit unsure🤪: for currency exchange, I saw on the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs website that withdrawing currency with a bank card from ATMs is limited to 200 TND per week. There are four of us traveling by car, so that might be a bit tight! And it’s a hassle to carry a lot of cash, even if I’m not being paranoid! What do you all recommend?

Instead, I suddenly stopped getting replies from the three or four people I’d contacted. So now I’m wondering about the reception former Pieds-Noirs can expect...

I’d like to do a route that’s a bit different from my first stay, which was more focused on cities and culture (Tunis, Sousse, Kairouan, El Jem).
I’ll be getting around by public transport.
I’d like to head south toward Tozeur, and I saw that you can take a *louage* from Monastir to Sbeitla (2h30). I imagine it’s not too complicated to get to Tozeur from there afterward? The issue is the return trip to Monastir and safety in Sbeitla.
If this route seems too complicated, I might opt for Djerba instead, which looks simpler.

Day 9-10: Rabat (I’ve heard mixed things... some good, some bad)
After that, I have the choice of heading back to Tangier for my return flight... or going down to Agadir (also a possible return flight) and extending my trip by 5 days :)
From what I can tell, everything is well connected by bus (CTM) or train (ONCF).
Another question: Is the vibe in Moroccan youth hostels for meeting people the same as what you’d find in Western Europe?

(though there are fraudulent sites out there). On the official site, they ask for legitimate info
(name, nationality, etc.). What made me go "hmm" was the request for both an email address
AND a password (with confirmation). Is this normal?

A lot of people find it important to stick to their budget when traveling—not to skimp, but to visit as many places as possible since traveling is their hobby.
In this post, I want to share some tips for those coming to Morocco who want their trip to be budget-friendly.
1. Prebook everything: hotels or riads, car rentals, or tours. If you book these in advance, it’ll make your life easier. You won’t have to deal with hagglers or people trying to overcharge you for services that are available online for free. Use platforms like Booking, Expedia, carsrental.ma, Airbnb, and other booking services to get this done properly.
2. Exchange your money to Moroccan dirhams as soon as you land. 1 € is always a little over 10 dirhams, but many people get charged as if it were exactly 10 dirhams per euro.
3. When visiting an old site or the old medina, avoid talking to vendors and shop owners—they’re really good at getting your attention and making you overpay for things.
4. Ask your tour guide to buy things for you. Yes, they do get a commission, but you’ll probably pay way more if you buy something yourself that they can get cheaply.
5. Walk everywhere. You don’t need a taxi for every little trip. Pick a good location and walk—most Moroccan cities are safe during normal hours.
6. Buy your food, drinks, etc., from supermarkets at normal prices. They can’t overcharge you since they scan every product.
