Nous avons donc choisi le Lindo, mais j'aimerais quand même connaître les différences entre les deux ? Les restaurants semblent partagés, les clients du Lindo ont-ils accès à ceux du Maya ? Question bar, piscine, etc ...
Si je me fis à mes lectures, les "seules différences" résideraient dans les chambres, les 2 ou 3 piscines privées ... Mais rien de plus.
Y'a t'il des services (restaurants, piscines...) auquels les clients du Lindo n'ont pas droit ?

Nous partons pour le mexique en janvier 07, après un circuit de 5 jours au Yucatan nous avons opté pour l'ibérostar Paraiso Maya.
J'ai trouvé une vue du complexe Paraiso sur Google Earth et je l'ai annotée, pourrais tu me dire si c'est juste, donc si je vois bien les piscines entre le Lindo et le Maya sont communes aux 2 hôtels.
Puisque tu connais le Beach:c'est aussi la même piscine pour le Beach et le Del Mar?
Encore une petite question mais à mes yeux très importante:
la plage est-elle très pentue voir dangeureuse et y a t il des rochers dans la mer🙁
On ne trouve pas beaucoup d'infos sur l'ibérostar Paraiso Maya.....si tu as quelques renseignements, ils seront les bienvenus

En effet, les piscines sont communes au Ib. Lindo et au Ib. Maya.
En fait, pratiquement tout est commun: Piscines, aires communes, restaurants (sauf un, le Gourmet l'Étoile, réservé en principe aux clients du Maya).
Les deux hôtels ont chacun leur Lobby Bar, dans lequel les clients des deux hôtels peuvent aller, à leur choix. Les clients du Lindo et du Maya (dont, finalement, la principale différence reste les chambres (un peu plus spacieuses au Maya) puisque mêmes services, salle de spectable, restaurants, bars, etc... pour les deux hôtels) peuvent aller également aux installations du Del Mar et du Beach.
En effet, les installations sont communes pour ces deux hôtels (mêmes resataurants, certains d'un côté et certains de l'autre, chacun leur lobby bar avec choix pour les clients des deux hôtels de choisir leur préféré, mêmes piscines et aires de jeux, etc), mais ceux-ci ne peuvent aller au Lindo et Maya.
Pour ce qui est de la plage, est elle très belle du côté du Beach (ce qui ne vous causera pas de problème puisque vous pouvez y aller sans problème, en tant que client du Maya). La plage (et la mer) en face du Del Mar est très rocailleuse, pratiquement personne ne s'y baigne. Je n'y suis pas allé souvent, mais la plage et la mer du côté du Lindo et Maya semblait très belle et sécuritaire également.

Nous et nos amis serons accompagnés par nos enfants (4, 7 et 9 ans). Je me suis laissée dire, que la mer était assez dangereuse à cet endroit : beaucoup de vagues (souvent drapeau rouge !!!) et ... de cailloux !!!.
Penses-tu qu'il soit préférable de choisir alors de choisir le Tucan/Quetzal où la mer serait plus belle ???
En fait, je n'irais pas jusqu'à dire que la mer soit dangeureuse à cet endroit, mais elle est certes agitée. Cependant, en deux semaines (24 déc au 7 janvier dernier) nous n'avons eu que deux drapeaux rouges, le plus souvent des drapeaux jaunes. Quant aux cailloux, il y en a énormément face au Iberostar Del Mar, et pratiquement pas devant le Beach et le Lindo. Nous avons passer énormément de temps dans la mer et nous n'avons eu aucun problème.
Ceci dit, il y a beaucoup d'enfants dans ce complexe, et tous semblent grandement apprécier cette mer 😉 Il est facile de se procurer, à la boutique de l'hôtel, des bouées gonflables et autres jouets d'eau (ce que beaucoup font) et les enfants semblent s'ammuser au plus haut point !
Si votre seule hésitation vient de la mer et de la plage, à votre place, je n'hésiterais pas ... 😎

Comme je le disais, il faut être un peu vigilant avec la mer (qui n'est pas aussi calme qu'en Rép. Dominicaine par exemple), mais elle n'est pas dangeureuse. Les enfants adorent en général, et les adultes aussi 😉 Les plus jeunes enfants restaient près du bord, d'où ils profitaient des vagues.
Pour ce qui est de l'eau, elle est magnifique, sûrement autant que sur les photos 😎 Mais il faut dire que la mer des Caraïbes est rarement décevante 😉

I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.

Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)

2. Adults-only
3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

Hi there, I’m a 43-year-old woman planning to travel solo in early March. I’m not really into "commercial resorts," but if I find a place that fits my criteria, I might be interested. To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?
