We are writing to let you know that we're updating our User Agreement for Canada as follows:
We've included additional details on which payment method will be used for your transactions, and we've clarified that you will now be able to pick any funding source in your PayPal account as a preferred payment method when shopping with PayPal;We are introducing new flat fee pricing for international Personal Payments funded using your PayPal balance or a bank account and simplified pricing for Personal Payments funded using other means; andEffective immediately, we are updating the seller and buyer protection eligibility requirements for qualified in-person transactions.We are also updating our PayPal Website Payments Pro and Virtual Terminal Agreement ("Pro/VT Agreement") as follows:Effective immediately, if you use PayPal Payments Advanced, PayPal Payments Pro, Website Payments Pro, or Virtual Terminal, we have updated the language in our Pro/VT Agreement, to describe your additional obligations if you choose to accept American Express credit cards as payment for the goods and services you sell.You can learn more about these changes on our Policy Update page at Policy Update page. These updates will take effect on October 10, 2017, unless otherwise noted. If you do not agree with all or any of these changes, you may close your PayPal account before the change(s) become effective.
