Voilà j'aimerais avoir quelques renseignements.
Je suis actuellement étudiant à L'institut des Relations Internationales et Stratégiques de Paris (11ème) et je prépare, en partenariat avec BIOFORCE, un Master 2 " Métiers de l'Humanitaire". A la fin du mois de juin, il nous est proposé de ponctuer notre formation par un stage de 4 mois minimum au sein d'une OSI.
Voilà où je veux en venir : je pensais qu'avec ce forum et toutes les personnes concernées par le domaine de la Solidarité Internationale qui y participent, vous pourriez peut-être me guider dans mes recherches.
Mon gros soucis c'est que je viens du Domaine de la Sécurité, c'est à dire tout ce qui est gestion des risques, prévention des accidents de travail, maitrise des risques. Et par conséquent, et étant donné le soucis croissant de professionalisation du secteur de la Solidarité Internationale, je ne vois pas encore trop quel rôle je peux jouer au sein d'une OSI et plus particulièrment sur le terrain.
C'est pour cela que je cherche à avoir qqs renseignements sur les postes que je pourrais occuper avec une telle formation. Existe-t-il des ONG qui travaille principalement sur l'évaluation des risques et la gestion de ces risques?
Qelles sont les missions ou les projets qui demandent ce genre de profil?
Est-ce que seule mon Master me permettrait de pouvoir intégrer un poste au sein d'une OSI?
Je serais vraiment ravi que vous puissiez me donner un petit coup de main pour répondre à toutes ces qestions. Sincèrement Merci d'avance pour votre aide.

ta question est trés pertinante mais en deux mots lors du tsunami avez tu ta place? je pense que oui
l'évaluation est un mot trés répandu en humanitaire trop utilisé à mon gout.........
mais les risques lors d'une catastrophe sont réels (exemple: structure industrielle) soit plus précis dans ce que tu recherches et on pourra peut etre t'aider!!!!

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

After 8 months of volunteering in Tanzania at a center for street children, I’d like to go back for a year in the same kind of role—this time in Burkina. So I’m looking for contacts in this field, in Ouaga or elsewhere. I’m *super* motivated! It’s been over two years since I got back from Tanzania, and I’m starting to feel restless!

Solidafrica is a recognized humanitarian association of general interest. We donate wheelchairs in Africa. We currently have 2 wheelchairs that we would like to give to our partner, the Benin Handisport Federation. If you're traveling to Benin, alone or with someone, we could give you one of these 2 wheelchairs (or both). Out of the 40 kg of luggage you're allowed, a wheelchair will only take up less than half. Our partner can pick it up at Cotonou Airport...

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
