Je suis actuellement en train d'organiser un voyage humanitaire à Cuba, plus précisèment à La Havane, dans la municipalité de La Lisa.
Ce voyage aura pour but de venir en aide à l'école et à l'orphelinat de La Lisa en leur apportant vetements, médicaments, jouets, matériel scolaire et cours de français pour une durée aproximative de 3 semaines en octobre 2009;
Cependant nous n'avons pas encore de contacts locaux.
Si vous avez des adresses à me communiquer de personnes à cuba ou en france qui pourrait nous aider je ne nous en remercirait jamais assez!

C'est un peu compliquer un voyage humanitaire à Cuba... Surtout si tu veux le faire officiel! Si vous amenez des containers, ils risquent d'etre bloqués en douane (c'est arrivé à des copains, mais je me rappelle pas leur assoc...), sur place, il faut prendre contact avec un organisme spécial qui gère les donations (je me rappelle plus le nom...). Mais vous ne ferez probablement pas ce que vous voulez!
Je vous conseille d'aller directement sur place, avec ce que vous voulez donner dans vos valises. (Attention, il faut pas que les valises dépassent 25 - 30 kg, sinon tu es surtaxé par la douane... Regarde le site de la douane cubaine http://www.aduana.co.cu/ ). Je ne peux pas t'en dire beaucoup plus...
Tu peux peut-être essayer de contacter les gens de "spanky project" cuba :http://spankyproject.blogspot.com/2007/09/cuba-day-67-trinidad.html . C'est une asso canadiene qui essaye d'aider les animaux, entre autre à Cuba ou ils ont 2 projets, un à la havane, un à Trinidad. Je connais très bien leur contact à Trinidad, Julio Munoz: http://www.casa.trinidadphoto.com/ Il pourra te mettre en contact avec le veto canadien de spanky et diana project (specialisé chevaux), et ils t'expliqueront les difficultées qu'ils rencontrent... Du jour ou ils ont voulu faire les choses un peu plus officielles, les autorités leur ont compliqué la vie... On leur laisse plus entrer leurs dons... Voilà en tout cas ce que j'ai compris.

a la Lisa (banlieue de la Havane) tu peux prendre contact avec l'hopital (centro cientifico) Frank Pais, spécialisé en orthopédie, qui a de nombreuses activités de ce genre...

juste pour te parler des médicaments !!!!
J'ai lu dans un journal gratuit "Direct matin ou soir" pour ne pas le citer, un article du Président de l'Ordre de Malte qui disait qu'ils envoyaient le DERNIER CONTAINER DE MEDICAMENTS pour le BENIN. Il y "aurait" une loi européenne qui INTERDIRAIT à partir du 1er janvier 2009, l'envoi de médicament récupéré..... cela serait du aux divers trafics de faux médicaments entre autre.... combattu par Pharmaciens Sans Frontières !
Donc, renseigne toi pour cela, je pense que cette loi est de permettre à des Laboratoire internationaux de s'en mettre un peu plus dans les poches (non ?) sinon il y a des génériques sur place que l'on peut acheter ? là je parle pour l'Afrique je sais qu'on peut, mais pour Cuba ????
Oui, c'est dommage, mais faut pas désesperer, faut juste être très motivé, bien s'informer et bien s'organiser en conséquence... 😉
Peut être que certains ont aussi plus de chances que d'autres... Faut trouver les bons contacts!

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

After 8 months of volunteering in Tanzania at a center for street children, I’d like to go back for a year in the same kind of role—this time in Burkina. So I’m looking for contacts in this field, in Ouaga or elsewhere. I’m *super* motivated! It’s been over two years since I got back from Tanzania, and I’m starting to feel restless!

We currently have 2 wheelchairs that we would like to give to our partner, the Benin Handisport Federation. If you're traveling to Benin, alone or with someone, we could give you one of these 2 wheelchairs (or both). Out of the 40 kg of luggage you're allowed, a wheelchair will only take up less than half. Our partner can pick it up at Cotonou Airport...

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
