ravi de savoir que tu as un penchant pour les enfants et tu as une formation et un bagage necessaire.
Alors voila comment se passe le travail de notre association: nous sommes en collaboration avec un orphelinat de la ville de Douala (capitale economique du Cameroun) lorsque nous avons une offre comme la tienne la responsable de l'orphelinat et moi meme president de l'asso etudions ensemble les modalitées de ton arrivée, les taches à effectuer aupres des enfants, les attentes de l'asso et de l'orphelinat, l'hebergement et autres détails.
Pour ce qui est de ton cas l'asso donne son ok pour te recevoir, reste a discuter avec la directrice de l'horphelinat (ce sera chose faite d'ici demain) et apres nous te diront les modalités précises.
la periode me semble convenable car c'est la periode des classes tous les enfants sont en place (pendant les congés les enfants vont souvent en famille d'acueil pr permettre a l'horphelinat de soufler un peu financierement)
Coté hebergement le bénévole peut avoir le choix entre loger à l'horphelinat ou chez l'habitant (un membre de l'association) sachant que l'horpehlinat est situé dans une mission catholique le benevole verra si les contraintes religieuse ne lui pose pas un probleme mais le benevole n'a aucune obligation vis vis de la religion dans sa pratique et autres.

Je suis moi-même partie en Afrique avec l'A.R.E (Association pour la réinsertion des enfants) au Togo.
J'ai était 5 mois dans une école ou j'ai pris en charge une classe de CE1 qui n'avait pas de professeur pour l'année.
Cette association est très sérieuse, elle a l'habitude de recevoir des bénévoles et travail en partenariat avec plusieurs écoles.

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
