Je viens de m'inscrire sur ce site car je trouve les réponses aux questions posées très pertinentes et j'espère pouvoir apporter des réponses à d'autres personnes en retour.
Bref je déménage avec mon futur mari en Guadeloupe pour y vivire en septembre prochain.Mon fiançé à trouvé un emploi d'ingénieur sur Baie Mahault et de mon côté je recherche, j'ai déjà un entretien (dans le management commercial).Nous quittons donc tout ici pour vivre la grande aventure en sachant que ce ne sera certainement pas toujours tout rose.Nous sommes allé en novembre dernier 15 jours en Martinique où ma soeur vit encore pour 1 an (femme de marin).Cependant nous ne connaissons pas la Guadeloupe mais sommes amoureux de la Martinique et espérons pouvoir nous intégrer rapidemment (et ferons tout pour!😉).Pour cela j'ai quelques questions.
- nous recherchons un logement mais quelles villes sont les plus agréables (une ville qui bouge, pas trop exentrée mais en même temps pas qu'une ville à touristes) et surtout les plus pratiques pour travailler à Baie Mahault (est ce que cette ville est agréable pour y vivre).Nous avons également des opportunités pour le Lamentin, Sainte Rose et Petit Bourg.Des avis, recommandations?
- nous recherchons un appartement T3 meublé car nous arrivons sans meubles.Est ce une bonne option?On nous a dit que beaucoup de métros vendaient leurs meubles régulièrement en partant de Guadeloupe.Y a t'il un bon filon?
- nous avons un petit chien avec nous.En Martinique nous avions remarqué qu'il y avait beaucoup de chiens errants mais pas beaucoup en laisse...Est ce la même chose en Guadeloupe.Y-a t'il des parcs ou des endroits faciles pour sortit les chiens?(question idiote certainement mais en Martinique il n'y avait pas grand chose à ce niveau).
Voila j'en ai encore pleins d'autres mais si déjà vous pouviez nous éclairer là dessus cela nous permettrait d'avancer alors merci d'avance!
Pour t'installer en guadeloupe, tout dépend de ce que tu recherches. Si tu veux un truc qui bouge, en effet, je te conseille plus d'aller vers Gosier où tu auras un centre ville vivant et La Marina qui n'est pas loin pour sortir le soir. Petit bourg, tu as l'avantage d'être à proximité immédiate de Jarry, il n'y a pas d'embouteillage et c'est bien vert, surtout si tu montes sur les hauteurs de petit-bourg, tu es déja un peu dans la forêt tropicale. Le lamentin, je connais pas trop... POur sainte-rose, ville trés sympa, mais ATTENTION AUX EMBOUTEILLAGES.... si vous travaillez sur Jarry/ baie-mahault, c'est vite un calvaire tous les matins pour aller au taf et tous les soirs, même chose....Une des possibilités c'est de prendre un logement temporaire quand vous arrivez (beaucoup de gites/bungalows en guadeloupe à un tarif intéréssant où tu peux rester qqes semaines le tps de te faire une idée sur place du coin où tu veux t'installer.
Il est assez faciles de trouver des locations meublées en guadeloupe sinon il y a bien des gens qui vendent leur meuble, il y des sites internet comme le bon coin ou domannonces où les journaux gratuit que tu trouve partout...
Sinon pour les chiens, il y a en a autant voir plus qu'en martinique... pas forcément de parc pour ton chien mais beaucoup de traces en fôret/dans la nature pour le ballader

Our departure time is getting closer (we have less than 2 years left—it’s both a long time and so short!). To start preparing seriously, we’ll need quite a bit of info. If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
