je suis alle en asie du sud est pendant 6mois jai fini par atterir a chain rai ou jai fait la connaissance dun thai qui est peintre et qui est maintenant un bon ami ayant passer 2mois avec lui. et il mest venu une idee de projet qui je pense pourrait peut etre aboutir mais je voudrais avoir votre avis.je mexplique. je suis artiste peintre en france (du moins jessaye) et il mest venu lidee de venir en thailande pour realiser mes tableaux et dessayer de faire des expositions sur place. je serais loger gratuitement chez mon ami et jaurai un atelier a disposition. lui etant peintre a deja pas mal de contact pour faire des expos et un autre ami nepalais vivant a bangkok a de tres bonnes connaissances dans le domaine et pourrait en cas de besoin me pistonner pour des expos. jai bien envie de me lancer jai un budget me permettant de vivre je pense a peu pres 8 10 mois en thailande voir plus si je fais vraiment attention. jai deja fait des expo en france et vendu des tableaux se qui je pense pourrait mettre en confiance certaines galeries jai un site internet(bientot fini). mais est ce une bonne idee etant francais cela ne se compliquerai pas pour certaines demarches; me faudrait il un visa autre que touristique (etant proche de la frontiere laotienne et de la birmanie je pense faire les aller retour tout les mois pour renouveller mon visa) le cout des expositions est il chere le delai dattende pour faire une expo est il long vivre chez un thai ne pose til pas de probleme etc etc
le marché de lart en thailande est il bon en ce moment il y a til des acheteurs des amateurs...ne laisse ton pas mourir de faim les artistes comme en france?(bien entendu cela depend par la suite de la qualité de mon travail)
bref je voudrais savoir si vous pensez que cest un projet qui tient la route sil est realisable. tous les thai ou personnes etrangeres a qui jen ai parlé mon dit de me lancer ai je raison de les ecouter et de ma lancer. personnellement jepense que oui je suis encore jeune jai donc le temps.jai egalement un peu d'argent pour me permettre dessayer se reve et jai beaucoup beaucoup de motivation.
Jai oublié de preciser que je fais de la peinture tres tres contemporaine je vous aurais bien donner mon site mais il est pas encore fini...

Un visa touristique t'interdit de travailler donc ce n'est pas le mieux adapte a ta situation ! D'autant plus que tu comptes exposer, donc si tu bosses avec un visa touristique tu t'exposeras toi aussi, qui plus est a de gros problemes.
Il te faudrait un work permit, mais quand on est artiste ou independant c'est toujours le meme casse-tete, quasiment impossible a obtenir. Il existe des visa pour les artistes, mais ils sont de courtes durees (15 jours si je ne me trompe pas), par pour des mois comme tu le souhaites.
renouveller son visa tous les mois ce n'est plus possible avec la nouvelle loi d'octobre 2006, tu pourras seulement y résider 3 mois, et devra sortir 3 mois du territoire.
Pour les visas touristes tu peux prendre un visa double entrée 2x2mois entansible chancun de 30 jours, ce qui te fait 6 mois en tout. Au delà où il faut être retraité ou créer sa propre société avec les règles qui vont bien. En tant que peintre indépendant je ne vois pas trop de solutions pour rester... à part te marier et encore...

A mon avis, ne te prends pas maintenant la tete avec les visas de travail ou d'artiste, prends seulement un visa touristique, viens peindre ici si tu pense etre inspirer et tu avisera si tu as une expo.

Ici il n'y a aucune aide, pas de RMI, ni d'alloc, les artistes n'ont pas le soucis faire "leurs heures" puisqu il n'y a pas les assedics et tout ce que l'on critique dans notre pays mais qui nous rend si service....donc, oui, je pense qu'ici les artistes crevent encore plus la faim....
