Je suis étudiante en troisième année de médecine. J'aimerais faire une pause d'un an pour voyager et m'engager dans des programmes humanitaires orientés sur les thèmes de la santé. J'ai dans l'idée de partir 3mois en Afrique, 3 mois en Asie du sud sud-est, et trois mois en Amérique latine. J'aimerais me sentir utile, découvrir d'autres cultures et d'autres façons de pratiquer la médecine. Voilà si vous avez des idées ou des projets pour lesquels vous seriez interessés par une bénévole étudiante en médecine je suis à l'écoute!!

Comment peut-on faire confiance à ces associations africaines et surtout togolaises qui font du prosélytisme à longueur de temps sur tous les forums au plus grands mépris des lecteurs et des règles élémentaires de vie en commun? Comment des gens qui n'ont pas le moindre respect des forums pourront être respectueux des volontaires qu'ils vont accueillir?? A fuir..
Super projet :) je suis partie 3 semaines en camp chantier humanitaire l'été dernier, je peux te mettre en contact avec l'asso togolaise. J'ai aussi gardé contact avec la directrice d'une petite école au Kenya qui accueille les enfants orphelins, si tu passes dans le coin, n'hésite pas à me demander le contact, il est peut être possible d'organiser quelque chose aussi :)
J'espère que ton projet prend forme, n'hésite pas à nous laisser un petit message sur le forum si tu réalises ce projet, pour qu'on sache comment ça s'est passé, etc.

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

After 8 months of volunteering in Tanzania at a center for street children, I’d like to go back for a year in the same kind of role—this time in Burkina. We currently have 2 wheelchairs that we would like to give to our partner, the Benin Handisport Federation. If you're traveling to Benin, alone or with someone, we could give you one of these 2 wheelchairs (or both). Out of the 40 kg of luggage you're allowed, a wheelchair will only take up less than half. Our partner can pick it up at Cotonou Airport...

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
