Je me présente, Marjorie, j'ai 24 ans, et j'ai depuis quelques années pour projet de réaliser un voyage humanitaire. Ce projet me tient de plus en plus à cœur au fil du temps. Je suis cependant quelque peu désorientée par les multiples informations disponibles sur internet et je redoute de m'orienter vers un site frauduleux qui aurait plus une vocation pécuniaire qu'humanitaire. Je suis aussi fortement découragée par des prix exorbitants qui ne me permettent pas actuellement d'envisager ce projet. J'ai enfin de grandes difficultés à trouver un organisme qui pourrait m'orienter dans ma démarche.
J'ai actuellement un DE de Conseillère en Économie Sociale et Familiale que j'ai obtenu en 2012. Depuis le 22 avril, je réalise un service civique au sein de l'Association des Familles de Traumatisés Craniens (AFTC) à Illkirch-Graffenstaden. Travailler dans le social et m'engager en tant que volontaire service civique me permet à la fois de me faire une expérience en tant que CESF, mais aussi de donner de ma personne et d'apporter un soutien et un lien à la société en aidant les personnes en situation d'exclusion.
Depuis mon volontariat en service civique, je me suis rendu compte que ce lien se fait dans les deux sens, et que les adhérents de l'AFTC m'apportent autant que ce que je peux leur apporter. En effet, leur situation m'a fait relativiser les difficultés que je rencontre dans la vie notamment ce qu’ils affrontent au quotidien. Ce sentiment, déjà présent avant le début de mon volontariat, s'est amplifié avec l'expérience que j’acquiers aujourd'hui. Le travail en équipe m’intéresse tout particulièrement car il permet de faire des projets plus vivants et de mutualiser des idées qui font avancer les choses. C'est pourquoi, je souhaiterai par ce projet, découvrir d'autres cultures mais aussi comprendre que les nouvelles technologies, les objets superflus qui noient notre société ne sont pas nécessaires. Organiser un voyage humanitaire avec d'autres jeunes pourrait être intéressant pour vivre une expérience humaine forte dans toutes ses dimensions, avant, pendant et après le projet.
Ayant déjà une vie de couple depuis 6 ans qui serait compromise par une mission d’une à plusieurs années, j'envisage de partir 2 ou 3 mois maximum afin de réaliser tout de même ce projet qui me tiens à cœur. Aussi, ayant actuellement peu de moyen financier depuis mon installation en couple avec mon ami, le fait de réaliser ce projet en groupe permettrait de mettre en places diverses actions pour obtenir des fonds et s'autofinancer.
Suite à cette présentation, j'espère vous avoir convaincu de ce projet et j'aimerai savoir si des ONG, associations ou autres peuvent me renseigner ou m'accompagner dans ce projet ?
J'aimerai aussi savoir si d'autres jeunes sont intéressés par ce projet en région Alsace qui aurait un projet similaire au mien ?

L'idée de partir en groupe est plus rassurante et encourageante. C'est vrai il ne faut pas toujours se fier à tout se qu'on vous dit, je vous conseille de prendre votre temps, ne vous jetez pas dans la précipitation. A quelle période très exactement comptez vous partir?
Merci pour votre réponse. Pour le moment je ne sais pas exactement quand je vais partir. Je pense qu'il faut bien un ans ou peut-être même plus pour préparer ce type de projet. Actuellement en service civique jusqu'au mois de décembre, je ne sais même pas encore ce que je vais faire après. Je pense chercher divers CDD en tant que CESF en attendant de partir faire ce voyage. Je ne souhaite pas du tout me précipiter, au contraire je suis pour le moment à la recherche d'informations qui pourraient me conforter dans mon projet.

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
