Salut à toi amie française, je pars pour la Colombie-Brésil le 8 mars soit dans 2 jours pour 5 semaines mais je garde en note ton courriel et je peux te dire d'avance que tu vas t'éclater cette été chez nous car les festival se succède tout l'été. Pour ce qui est de travailler, je crois qu'il ne devrais pas être difficile pour toi d'avoir les papiers pour travailler car Québec-France ça fonctionne assez bien sinon il y a toujours moyens de s'arranger pour te faire passer l'été ici.

je suis informaticien au gouvernement du Québec et voici quelques conseils:
1) Tu accède au site de Bell Canada http://www.canada411.ca/
C'est la principale entreprise téléphonique canadienne où tu peux trouver l'adresse et le numéro de téléphone de pratiquement toutes les personnes ou entreprises du Québec et de l'Ontario.
2) Tu recherche une entreprise par catégorie (par exemple: informatique, assurances, banques, etc. selon ta spécialité et tes intérêts) pour une ville précise ou une province. Ca va te donner le nom des entreprises du domaine que tu cherche.
3) Par la suite, tu peux les rechercher sur le web avec un moteur de recherche (par exemple: www.google.com).
Plusieurs de ces entreprises ont des sites Web, particulièrement les plus grandes entreprises. Elles ont souvent un onglet «carrière» où tu peux voir leurs offres où les contacter.
Je te dit tout de suite que les grands employeurs dans le domaine de l'informatique sont les entreprises qui manipulent de grande quantité d'informations, comme les gouvernements, les banques et les caisses populaires, les compagnies d'assurances, les multinationales (Alcan, Bombardier, etc.) et finalement les compagnies de consultation (CGI, DMR, LGS, NURUN, Systematix, etc..).
Pour ce qui est du gouvernement du Québec (http://www.gouv.qc.ca/Informations/Emploi/Emploi_fr.html), les emplois offerts sont plus nombreux à Québec (la capitale) où sont regroupés les bureaux administratifs. À Montréal, tu trouveras plus d'emplois dans le privé.
Je doute tout de même qu'un employeur veuille engager une personne sans l'avoir rencontrée. Le mieux serait peut-être de rechercher une entreprise de ton pays qui a aussi des bureaux au Québec ou l'inverse, une entreprise d'ici qui a des bureaux chez-vous. Tu pourras ainsi te faire valoir auprès d'eux en montrant ta disponibilité pour travailler à l'étranger.

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
