Hi Lionel, For my 4th trip to Laos, I went through Lawheels Travel. They created a custom itinerary for me—slightly off the beaten path but still including the must-sees. They were very attentive, offered a good deal at a reasonable price, and included lots of experiences beyond the usual tourist trails I’d already done. The pace was great, with plenty of opportunities to meet locals, and a fantastic guide who adjusted the program with me based on opportunities that came up.

Hi there, For Cambodia, I’ve also been four times since 1994!! Watch out—there are agencies with almost identical names: Un Monde Autrement vs. Cambodge autrement https://www.cambodgeautrement.com/

And Voyage Autrement with Terre Cambodge and Siem Reap à la carte

Hello, what aggression! Speaking without knowing... I’ve been registered for a long time under another username, chris13—you can check, and I’ve replied to many messages. When the site went dormant, I couldn’t recover my login details, so I re-registered... that’s the whole story, and there’s nothing to worry about—I’m not a travel agency if that’s what you’re implying!! Hello, Sorry for asking around—I’m gathering info.

For Laowheels Travel, the agency still appears in the 2025 Petit Futé guide, which recommends Christophe Kittirath (I’d seen that before).

I’ll contact Mr. Vung, or his daughter as a backup—she just earned her francophone guide diploma after studying in northern France during 2023/2024. Happy researching to you! Eric
