De nombreux projets sont réalisables dans le tourisme sont nombreuses (guest house, restaurant, activités, etc...).
A mon avis, seule la motivation et la confiance (qui s'acquière quand le projet fonctionne et marche comme ce que l'on avait prévu) est importante dans ce type de projet. Ce n'est pas pour être prétentieux, mais cuisiner, recevoir des voyageurs, avoir du bon goût pour de la décoration-ameublement, c'est à la hauteur de tout le monde (moi, y compris :-))
Personnellement, j'ai pas mal voyagé dans le passé et j'ai passé un an au vietnam, à saïgon, en y travaillant dans l'informatique. Et j'ai encore rencontré des frenchies y tenant des restaurant ou guest house sur les îles. Et on se rend compte très vite que la vie à la française cartonne vraiment et s'exporte très bien. Débrouillardise, inventivité, bonne communication (et j'en passe) est à la mesure de tout le monde.
Pour créer cette discussion, j'ai dû choisir des destinations précises mais, pour le moment, je n'ai pas d'idées précises mais j'ai des préférences et des destinations sont plus "easy" que d'autres évidemment.
Pour le moment, j'essaie de trouver des compagnon(e)s réellement motivé par ce type de projet avec le même état d'esprit : construire un projet viable financièrement et durable avec un travail de fond et des effort forcément pour y parvenir. L'association me paraît, actuellement, une bonne idée sur pas mal de plan (pouvoir confronter les idées pour prendre des décisions).
En ce moment, je travaille dans une SSII en informatique dans le développement (si ça parle à des personnes). J'habite sur Paris, suis célibataire. Et à 35 ans, je commence vraiment à penser à mes prochaines années et à mon cadre de vie en général.

ok mais attention tenir un resto ou un hôtel c'est beaucoup de travail j'écris une lapalissade certes mais on ne s'en rend toujours pas compte..
c'est pas comme travailler dans une SSII on arrive à 9heures et mettons à 18heures "tiens j'ai mon bus à prendre" "au revoir tout le monde"
Salarié c'est arriver et mettre les pieds sous la table, c'est un peu du fonctionnariat même si en SSII on peut être amené à faire des heures supplémentaires pour terminer un projet.
Donc on ne se soucie pas du tout de la santé financière de l'entreprise de toute façon si l'entreprise elle coule on touche les allocations de demandeur d'emploi 🙂

mais non pour faire tourner une entreprise ça ne suffit pas...il faut d'abord avoir suffisamment de capitaux de départ.

Non, ce sont des qualités que tout le monde n'a pas.
C'est comme le réalisme et l'objectivité : .ton message démontre que tout le monde n'en a pas le talent...
Tu as oublié : le sens du commerce, des compétences de compta, de gestion d'équipe, l'intégration culturelle, le contexte législatif, etc.
Quant à s'associer, renseigne-toi bien sur les très nombreux enjeux parfois très complexes que cela soulève... et fait échouer bien des projets.
A ta place avec des compétences en développement je miserai sur le télétravail ou être freelance. A mon avis c'est bien plus faisable que de chercher à monter un business quel qu'il soit...

Je ne voudrais pas être briseur de rêves, mais il me semble que les capacités financières sont aussi un des éléments de réussite. Quand on veut on peut, c'est bien joli, mais parfois, on veut , mais on ne peut pas...

J ai bien lu ton commentaire et je veux partager mon experience, peut etre ca te donnera des idées, déjà il faut du courage pour changer de vie et si tu en as vraiment la volonté et des moyens en adéquation avec ton projet alors c est plus que possible.
Je bossai en tant qu Admin Reseau j ai voulu changer de vie, j ai voyagé et j ai trouver l endroit ideal pour lancer mon projet ( un bar en l occurence) et j ai réalisé mon souhait.
Mes conseils
- Lance toi seul dans ton projet
- Trouve l endroit ideal c est a dire voyage autant de fois qu il le faudra pour etre sur de t y sentir a l aise.
Exemple
tu pars au Vietnam, tu découvres un endroit qui te plait vraiment, eh ben retournes y et restes y plus de 3 mois pour bien vérifier que tu te sentes vraiment bien ( environement , nourriture, intégration social) c est vraiment très important, ensuite tu analyses les besoins et la fasabilité du projet (etude de marché ) et apres avec beaucoup de travail et un peu de chance ton projet aboutira.
Tout dependra aussi du pays ciblé ( potentiel touristique, difficultés administrative en tant qu investisseur etranger, stabilité du pays etc.....)
Voila juste pour te dire que c est possible avec du courage et du bon sens.
