Bonjour à tous, mon mari et moi souhaitons obtenir des informations ( démarche visa, emploi , vie sur place) pour s'installer en australie surment sydney ou melbourne. nous souhaitons partir en septembre prochain avec notre fils qui aura deux ans à cette période. mon mari à 33 ans directeur de restaurant (brasserie française) depuis plusieurs années à un niveaux d'anglais euh...convenable et souhaite être salarié dans un premier temps et moi j'ai 25 ans titulaire d'un master en marketing avec un niveau d'anglais moyens et pas encore de veritables expériences ( à par mes stages de 6 mois où plus). nous nous posons donc multiples questions: doit on demander un visa vacances-travail et chercher quelques choses sur places??? quels sont nos chances d'avoir un visa permanent?? pourras t on facilement trouver un logement?? (surtout qu'on aura notre fils avec nous et que nous ne pouvons pas trop opter pour l'aventure), concernant notre bébé quel est le mode de garde le plus courant ?? l'education, moyenne de prix pour un mode de garde ect.....
j'ai éplucher de long en large le site de l'imigration australienne mais j'ai encore des zones d'ombre, je ne sait vraiment pas par quoi commencer. nous acceptons tous commentaires, expériences de vie , informations utiles.
pour le visa vacances travail, désolée mais le mari est un poil trop vieux et vous avez un enfant :p (ne le prenez pas mal, c'est les conditions)

Pour l'anglais c'est pas un problème, vous l'améliorerez là bas mais ne vous attendez pas à des postes haut placé avec un anglais moyen.
Pour le visa permanent, de ce que je sais il faut faire au moins 5mois de fruitpicking JE CROIS et pour ça il faut le pvt et pour ça il faut avoir moins de 30ans.
Le logement c'est cool, avec un peu d'argent vous pourrez vous construire une maison easy.
Mode de garde pour le bébé : au pair ? école/garderie ? Pour l'au pair, comptez 140$ environ par semaine.
Le mieux serait qu'une entreprise française basée en australie vous envoie là bas. Sinon la vie là bas est cooooool, no worries mate!
Le WHV est un bon moyen de mettre les pieds en AUSTRALIE, sauf qu'il me semble être valable uniquement pour les 18-30 ans !?
Avant échéance des 12 mois, il faut avoir fait 3 mois de "fruit picking" (c'est le deal), pour pouvoir renouveller encore 1 an. Au terme de ces 2 ans, c'est plus chaud pour rester (demande, sponsor...) mais pas impossible.
Il ne faut pas croire que l'Australie nous attend, même avec un Bac+5 et/ou 10 ans d'expérience !
Si vous ne parlez pas anglais couramment, la première démarche va être de vous perfectionner. Pour cela, Il faudra donc consacrer les 6 premiers mois à le faire, et accepter - de fait - des emplois temporaires pas toujours excitants.
Avec la langue, et le temps il est vrai que les portes s'ouvrent. Les opportunités d'ascension sociale et de rémunération attrayante sont nettement plus présentes qu'elle ne peuvent l'être en France (avis perso : où l'on dirait que tout est fait pour vous tirer vers le bas !).
La vie est assez chère en Australie mais les salaires suivent relativement. En tout cas, ils sont vraiment cools, le pays splendide et la qualité de la vie incomparable.

Je suis dans votre cas , et en pleine demarche de visa de permanent resident en Australie . Alors je peut vous dire ce que je sais a ce jour .
Vous avez plusieurs possibilitées de visas de different type . Pour savoir celui auquel vous pouvez pretendre vous devez faire une evaluation de vos points .
Nous voulons partir en famille , et nous allons demander le visa subclass 176 . C'est un visa avec sponsor d'etat . Il faut au moins 100 points pour y pretendre .
Vous devez savoir si votre travail fait partie de ceux recherché . cherchez sur le net dans la liste des skills occupation in Australia .
En tout etat de cause vous devrez passer un test d'Anglais IELTS et obtenir au moins 5 points , voire 7 si vous avez un travail de manager .
Vous pouvez choisir de prendre un agent qui vous montera le dossier . C'est ce que j'ai commencé a faire , mais je ne suis pas sur de poursuivre avec lui , vu les sommes qu'il me demande ( environ 6000 dollars ).
Si vous passez la barre des 120 points vous pouvez opter pour un visa sans sponsor .
Un des deux conjoint ouvre le visa pour toute la famille . Avec un visa sponsorisé vous devez rester 2 ans dans l'etat sponsor .
Bon voila , en vrac , j'en oublie surement , et de toute façon je ne sais pas tout !
Je suis prenneur des infos . A mon avis , en tous les cas , premiere etape , test Ielts !

merci beaucoup pour votre réponse qui m'est d'une grande aide. je m'inscris dés la semaine prochaine au british council pour des cours de prépa intensif à ce fameux test le ielts afin d'obtenir un bon score. mais je voulais savoir comment traduire le score en point? vous m 'avez dit que vous avez obtenu 100 points alors que les score vont de 1 à 9 . il y a til un pourcentage ? ( 5 = 100 point??).
Il lui faut être sponsorisé au départ de la FRANCE, le visa est le "Standard Business Sponsorship".
Ce n'est pas aussi évident que cela, mais surement plus dans l'hôtellerie/restauration que dans d'autres secteurs.
Son handicap pour un employeur potentiel, c'est la non-maîtrise courante de l'anglais.

Désolé , c'est vrai que ma reponse est un peu brouillon , alors je vais essayer d'etre plus clair :
Vous avez plusieurs options de visas pour le resident permanent , qui donnent droit a cinq ans en Australie, parmis ceux-ci :
Le partner sponsorship : Une entreprise vous sponsorise ( 100 points mini )
Le state sponsorship : Un etat vous sponsorise et vous vous engager a y vivre et y travailler pendant deux ans minimum ( 100 points mini )
Vous n'avez pas de sponsor ( 120 points mini )
Il y en a encore beaucoup d'autres , mais ceux la sont sans doutes ceux qui vous conviennent le mieux .
Le score des points sert a savoir quel est le visa le plus adapté a votre situation . Vous pouvez faire le calcul de vos points en allant sur le site du departement de l'immigration Australien .
Le score depent de : Votre age , votre metier , votre niveau d'Anglais etc... Il y a des bonus : vous parlez une langue aborigene , vous avez de la famille en Australie etc ...
La encore la liste est longue et chaque cas est different .
Enfin quel que soit votre visa ( a part si vous vous mariez avec un Australien ) vous devrez avoir un niveau d'Anglais de au moins 5 au test ielts ( noté de 0 a 9 ) .
5 au test vous donne 10 points , 7 vous donne 20 points ( je crois , a verifier ..).
Vous pouvez savoir si votre emploi fait partie de ceux recherché en consultant la liste skill occupation . Les points varient celon votre job ( le mien par ex me donne 60 points ).
Enfin , si vous optez pour un visa sponsor d'etat , vous devrez attendre un peu pour savoir quel sont les etats sponsors car ce sera a l'issue des elections que cela se decidera ( ils doivent les refaires , match nul au dernier tour ! )
Voila , j'espere avoir été plus clair , en tout cas la reussite au test Ielts est Incontournable .

Merci Sébastien pour votre réponse claire et précise, j'ai toute suite éssayer d'évaluer les point de mon mari ( car moi je suis encore étudiante) mais malheureusement son métier ( directeur de restaurant) n'apparait pas dans la fameuse liste des emplois qualifiés. je suis tellement deçue...du coupje ne sait plus quel visa serait leplus approprié pour notre cas et je ne sait même pas si on aura finalement une chance.
