Je suis étudiante en licence de sociologie a dakar ( ds le cadre d'un échange ac mon université de nantes). Ayant pas mal de temps libre (vive la fac) je recherche une association sur dakar, j'ai pas mal surfé sur ce site et d'autre mais je n'ai pas encore trouvé d'association sur Dakar. En effet je reste au sénégal jusqu'en juillet 2008 et je souhaiterai en plus de mes études, me rendre utile au sein d'une assoc.

je reviens d'un mois de bénévolat au sénégal, dans une association dans la banlieue de dakar qui répond au nom de "waranka". cette association se situe à Guinaw Rail sud (derrière pikine) et regroupe cyber, ecole et bibliothèque.
je ne sais pas où tu es située dans dakar mais si cela t'interesse, n'hésite pas à m'écrire sur ce site, c'est avec plaisir que je te repondrai!!

Tu peux toujours voir avec l'A.J.W.P. (Association des Jeunes de Wakhinane Pikine), à Wakhinane 3, dans la banlieue de Dakar (pas très loin du Centre Jacques Chirac). Si tu te renseignes dans le quartier, demande à voir Bira Wade Ndiaye. Cette assoc.a différentes classes de français, arabe, couture, .... cyber, et plein de projets. Mon mari et moi nous y rendons le 7 janvier prochain.

c'est pas très connu, même des taxis dakarois. 😛
alors moi, j'étais là bas pour une mission bibliothèque.
j'ai rangé et classé les livres, fait la lecture aux enfants, effectué avec eux des activités manuelles, fait un alphabet.
il y a encore beaucoup de choses à y faire donc n'hésites pas à leur proposer ton aide. de plus, ils sont très accueillants et très gentils.

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

If you're traveling to Benin, alone or with someone, we could give you one of these 2 wheelchairs (or both). Out of the 40 kg of luggage you're allowed, a wheelchair will only take up less than half. Our partner can pick it up at Cotonou Airport...

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
