Bon , je sais , rien à voir dans un premier temps avec les voyages .... mais la découverte de cette seconde branche familiale autrichienne m'inspire déjà un petit voyage itinérant dans ce pays !
Je suis à la recherche à Vienne , ou bien dans ses alentours, d'un site, d'un bourg , d'un quartier ou peut-être encore une église correspondant à cette inscription : St Gobin , 1400 Vienne .
Alors si vous avez connaissez cet endroit ou cette église ...
J'attends avec impatiente vos réponses !

Non effectivement. Je ne suis pas certaine de l'orthographe. Cela pourrait bien être cette 27 ième lettre de l'alphabet ! Je n'y avais pas penser du tout. 😎
Je vais tenter des recherches avec cette lettre que je transformerai en 2 s , je n'ai pas le bon clavier pour !
Mais il me semble que je l'ai vu écrit aussi "Saint-Gaubin" ????

Il y a quelque chose qui ne me paraît pas logique dans tout ça, si c'est en Autriche (en allemand), ce devrait être écrit "Sankt Gobin" ou Gaubin ou autre...
Oui , je suis d'accord avec vous sur ce point-là .
Un moment , j'ai pensé que Saint-Gaubin était une manière de franciser le nom mais dans ce cas là on aurait du avoir S.Gobin au départ, non ?
Ceci dit , il y a peut-être aussi eu une faute de saisie et sur les sites généalogiques , c'est souvent ...
Par exemple , en même temps que ce St Gobin, je me suis entétée à trouver LUDESCH en Allemagne mais go@gle m@p ou autre , me renvoie toujours à LUDESCH en Autriche. Je me suis finalement aperçue qu'il y avait eu une importante migration des tyroliens et des personnes originaires du land autrichien qui jouxte la Suisse et le Liechtenstein vers l'Alsace et la Moselle. Mes aïeux ont du fait partie de cette vague de migration. Les dates correspondent bien . Donc la personne qui a "rentré Ludesch" a commis très certainement une erreur .
