Je dois prendre un vol international depuis l'aéroport de Geneve, et je m'y rendrai en voiture depuis chez moi en France.
Effaré par les prix des parkings pour 15 jours dans cet aéroport, j'ai découvert par hasard sur le net le site easy-park qui pour le prix du parking le moins cher, propose de vous prendre votre voiture, de la garer et vous la restitue à votre retour près de la sortie. Particulièrement pratique quand on sait qu'en plus d'être chers les parkings de l'aéroport de Genève sont quelquefois complets !!!
Connaissez vous easy-park ??? avez vous déjà eu à faire avec eux??

Je n'ai pas fais appel à leur service (manque de confiance...) alors j'ai payé normalement....
Pour info, essayez le parking le moins chèr , même s'il affiche complet, vous avez une chance. Je soupçonne d'ailleurs qu'il affiche trop vite complet pour diriger les voyagers vers les parkings les plus chers...
le parking le moins cher, qui est aussi le plus éloigné de l'aéroport est en grande partie destiné aux employés de l'aéroport qui y garent leur véhicule. Donc même si il est indiqué comme complet, effectivement il y reste de nombreuses places de libres, places destinées aux détenteurs d'abonnement.
Donc ta remarque :

Il y a aussi moyen de se garer dans un parking gratuit (si si) correctement desservi par les transports en communs et de l'y laisser tranquillement une semaine ou deux. Quelques endroits de ce type sur l'agglomération (à connaitre), bien sûr il ne faut pas être pressé à l'aller ou au retour.
Pour info le parking du Palexpo (parc expo, pas très loin de l'aéroport) est un peu moins cher que le moins cher de l'aéroport.
Il y a 2 tarifs différents et quand je parle du parking le moins cher je fais allusion à l'un de ceux-ci et qui n'est nullement réservé au personnel ou autres détendeur d'abonnement.

Leur service est parfait pour un prix très intéressant.
Ils étaient à l'heure au RV pour récupérer la voiture à l'aller.
Mon vol a eu du retard au retour (arrivée 0h45 au lieu de 22h45). Pas de problème, ils étaient là.
Vraiment sympas, fiables et efficaces. A utiliser sans modération !!
Sachant que le parking de longue durée à l'aéroport de Genève est parfois (souvent) une nécessité, j'espère que mon témoignage ci-dessous sera utile pour votre prochain voyage. C'est pour cette raison que je donne une réponse détaillée.
J'ai utilisé les services d'EASY PARK depuis l'aéroport de Genève (easy-park.ch) avec succès 😎 et je peux sans problème vous recommander chaleureusement d'en faire de même.
Après avoir consulté leur site et lu plusieurs commentaires positifs ici (ils datent de 2009 ou 2010), j'ai appelé la société. La personne a décroché à la 3ème sonnerie et a répondu précisément et avec amabilité à mes questions.
Le principe est vraiment simple, il suffit de remplir la demande en ligne (5 minutes), la confirmation est immédiate. AUCUN paiement en avance, ni en ligne, on règle en espèces uniquement et à réception du véhicule au retour.
Le vendredi 22 avril à 17h00, a proximité de l'aéroport, j'ai appelé le chauffeur (j'avais son nom et son numéro sur le contrat que j'avais imprimé). La personne était présente au rdv au niveau des départs, parfaitement à l'heure. Il y avait d'ailleurs plusieurs personnes d'Easy Park et je n'étais pas la seule à utiliser leurs services ce jour là !! Il faut donc impérativement se rendre au parking "Départ" même si il affiche complet (ce qui est toujours le cas aux heures de pointe et/ou de grands départs).
Le chauffeur/personne de contact Easy-Park (identifiable par un panneau, ) avait une copie de mon contrat en deux exemplaires que nous avons rapidement relu, confirmé et signé. Je lui ai remis les clés de la voiture et conservé une copie signée.
Le mardi 3 mai à 15h00, à notre retour du Brésil (😎) notre avion avait 45 min. de retard. Comme Easy-Park avait mon n° de vol et mon n° de portable, je n'étais nullement inquiète et effectivement le chauffeur était là avec le véhicule en parfait état, au parking arrivée. Nous avons inspecté notre voiture attentivement et tout était parfaitement en ordre.
J'avais préparé une enveloppe avec 150 CHF (montant confirmé sur le contrat) et le chauffeur m'a remis un ticket de parking me permettant de quitter sans payer aucun supplément.
C'est définitivement une option à considérer en fonction de la durée de votre absence, heures de départ et de retour et la possibilité ou non de vous rendre à l'aéroport par transport public.
J'ai déjà prévu de les recontacter pour mon prochain voyage en novembre.
J'hesite encore pour passer par Easy Park.
Le prix est lègerement plus cher que dans le parking P51 ( 215ChF vs 205ChF) donc peu de différence !
Mais tous qui demande d'être payé en cash m'inquiète - surtout comment avoir 215CHF sur soi au retour d'un voyage??

après pas mal d'hésitations, j'ai demandé à un amis de Genève dans le tourisme s'il connaisait easypark reponse : oui et c'est bien !!
j'ai donc réservé pour un lundi matin fin mai RV vers 7h du matin voyage d'une semaine.
tout a été parfait .. le retour ayant été différé d'une heure, arrivée vers 22h30 sous la pluie
ma voiture était bien là, à l'arrivée, au sec.... j'ai payé cash en effet ( mais j'avais prévu la somme necessaire dès le départ) et pas besoin de les prévenir en cas de retard du vol ils suivent les arrivées deleurs clients. il y avait 5-6 autres personnes qui avaient utilisés leur services également.
franchement je les reprendrai pour mon prochain voyage.. c'est un plaisir de ne pas devoir faire des km à pied avec ses bagages dans les parking de l'aéroport.

En ce qui concerne le règlement, je n'ai vraiment pas envie d'avoir un enveloppe avec moi pendant mon voyage. Est-il possible de retirer de l'argent à l'aéroport de Geneve (DAB) ?
Au pays des banques, il y a des distributeurs partout, la plupart permettent un retrait en euros ou en francs suisses... Maintenant, pour retirer 215 frs, je ne sais pas, il n'y a pas de billet de 5 frs...
Ca fait deux fois que je fais appel aux services d'EASY PARK (la dernière le lundi 20 juin) et franchement je le recommande vivement. Déjà parce que le parking illimité était complet les deux fois quand je suis arrivée, ensuite parce que c'est un sacré comfort de laisser sa voiture sur la parking et d'aller prendre son vol sans le soucis de trouver une place et de revenir avec ses bagages. A l'arrivée, ils sont présents, (même si votre vol a du retard), payent pour le parking et vous rendent vos clefs ! En 5 minutes, on est parti !
J'ai voulu payer au départ (pour ne pas avoir à emporter l'argent avec moi) mais ils préfèrent que l'on paye au retour, j'ai donc gardé l'argent avec moi.
Voilà, vous pouvez y aller sans problèmes, c'est absolument génial !

Bon ... ayant discuté avec mon mari la Easy Park idée semble compromis. En effet, arriver à l'aéroport et donner les clés de la voiture à quelqu'un contre un papier signé n'est pas très rassurant. Il y a un numéro de SIRET ou l'équivalent suisse?? J'ai trouvé une autre possibilité www.easyjet-taxi.com qui est basé en France (donc ça évite la vignette en plus!) On se gare au parking en France puis on nous amène à l'aéroport en taxi.... quelqu'un le connait?
Bon j'ai trouvé le registre de commerce suisse et Easy park est bien enregistré - Je tourne en rond ... site de l'aéroport de genève montre que le parking P51 est complet aujourd'hui... pourquoi je n'ai personne qui veut nous amèner à l'aéroport à 4h du matin??
Je pense avoir trouvé le parking qui me convient - www.easyjet-taxi.com. C'est le moines cher (94Euros pour 3 semaines). On se gare dans un parking privé à Ferney-Voltaire en France mais tout près de l'aéroport et un chauffeur de taxi nous conduit à l'aéroport. On garde nos clés et on peut payer avec la CB. J'ai demandé confirmation du prix mais pour l'instant c'est celui-là qui retient. QUelqu'un le connait? l'a utilisé?
De retour de nos vacances je voulais faire part de notre expérience avec easyjet-taxi. J'avais réservé pour un rdv sur un parking coté français à 5h du matin ... donc je n'étais pas tranquille jusqu'au moment que l'on l'a vu. Mais il était au rdv (même avec 10 mins d'avance) au parking de son immeuble de résidence dans lequel il loue des parkings pour son activité de chauffeur de taxi. On a donc laissé la voiture dans le parking (ouvert et non surveillé) et on a gardé les clés; Il est très professionnel (plein de bons conseils, nous a porté les valises, à l'écoute de ses clients et cherche à satisfaire) - il nous a pris en charge jusqu'à l'aeroport, le trajet dure 5 minutes -nous expliquant qu'il travaille quasiment qu'avec l'aéroport (et ClubMed) et il est en train de mettre en place un service de garage fermé et surveillé + taxi à laéroport - le website est en construction. On a payé 34 Euros à l'aller, Et le prix total ... 74 Euros pour 17 jours !! Au retour on a raté notre correspondance à Londres donc on lui a averti par téléphone. Un petit coup de fil à l'arrivée et on s'est retrouvé devant l'aéroport pour nous ramener à notre voiture.
Franchement, malgré mes hésitations au debut, un service (et prix) vraiment SUPER !! La prochaine fois que nous devons partir de Genève je n'aurai aucune hésitation à passer par lui.
Nous avons reservé finalement avec easyjet-taxi et non Easy-park. C'était moins cher et on gardait les clés de la voiture. A l'aéroport, on a vu les chauffeurs Easy Park qui avait l'air très jeune !

Nous sommes partis en août 2011 et avons réserver le parking avec Easy-park, c'est génial, quelqu'un récupère (vous signez un contrat) votre voiture au parking des départs et vous la ramène au parking des arrivées, vous réglez le jour de l'arrivée, aucun problème avec la voiture, la personne est là à l'heure....De plus vous pouvez réserver votre date 6 mois avant (c'est même conseillé). Nous renouvelons l'expérience au mois d'avril 2012.;;
J'utilise pour ma part Civapark (anciennement City Wide Valet Parking). Deja testé 3 fois mais la dernière remonte à 3 ans. Je vais retester ça début mai, on verra. Rien à redire, aucun problème, si ce n'est que souvent 5-10 minutes de retard au départ (prévoir large si possible), au retour toujours à l'heure.
Les prix sont plus bas que easy-park (11/jour au lieu de 15/jours).
Il y a maintenant plusieurs sociétés qui pratiquent ça et je trouve cela super d'autant plus que le P51 est quasi toujours complet et assez éloigné si bcp de valises à porter.
Tout comme vous j'étais assez dubitative quant à cette offre de service. Puis un ami m'a parlé d'easy park et il en était content. Je lui ai fait confiance et je me suis lancée ! Je dois vous dire que je ne le regrette pas du tout ! Moi qui ne veut pas me prendre la tête en partant en vacances, ce service m'a permis de poser ma voiture devant l'entrée de l'aéroport, de donner les clés au voiturier et de partir aussi vite que je suis arrivée.
Et ce qui est encore mieux c'est qu'au retour ma voiture m'attendait sagement au parking, 15m plus loin.
Je dois dire que c'est vraiment agréable de ne pas avoir à se préoccuper d'où est-ce qu'on va garer sa voiture, ni de faire 15min de marche entre le P51 et l'aéroport, surtout avec nos grosse valises de vacanciers :)
Bref tout ça pour vous dire que je vous recommande vivement ce service !

Je vous déconseille franchement easy park. Je suis parti en vacance il y a peu de temps et j'ai laissé ma voiture à easy park de retour de vacance je reprend ma voiture et voilà que je trouve ma voiture bien abimé sur l'avant. Je suis très maniaque avec ma voiture alors je sais bien que c'est impossible que se soit moi qui ai touché mais easy park me veulent pas prendre les frais de réparation à leur charge.
Maintenant à vous de voir.

Petit retour d'expérience quelques années après : nous venons d'utiliser les services d'easypark à Genève et c'était parfait :)
Après avoir réservé sur leur site, on gare la voiture au parking courte durée, on va au guichet donner les clés et le ticket de parking (ne pas le perdre sur la route comme j'ai fait - même si au final ils m'ont aidé à en récupérer un autre pour en pas payer l'amende de perte de ticket...) et si on le souhaite (il faut le demander - je recommande) on fait un état des lieux rapide de la voiture.
Au retour on retourne au guichet, on récupère les clés et l'emplacement de la voiture, on commence par en faire le tour évidemment et on repart tranquillement.
Dans mon cas c'était au final moins cher que le parking longue durée, plus pratique et moins stressant. Ils ont été très aimables. Bref, je recommande !

Dépôt de voiture à l'aéroport sans problèmes. Mais à la récupération de la voiture avec arrivée de nuit je vais m’apercevoir après quelques minutes de conduite qu'il y a un gros problème. Après environ 2km parcourus, je m'aperçois que ma voiture ne roule pas exactement droit, la direction semble endommagée... En effet mon volant n'est plus droit et ma voiture fait des bruits bizarres lors de certains virages et ne possède plus une trajectoire droite ! Super pour faire 100km pour rentrer chez soi de nuit après un long voyage en avion... J'ai contacté tout de suite le valet de parking pour lui indiquer le souci et il me précise aucun problème je serais remboursé des réparations... hum hum... Ne pouvant pas revenir car rdv le lendemain ultra tôt je fais la route pour rentrer à faible allure. Je vous laisse deviner la suite, je relate les dégâts subis sur ma voiture à un 'gérant' de l'entreprise le lendemain, et la aucune prise en charge des réparations.... Ils partent du principe que ce n'est pas eux qui ont fait ça et que ma voiture était déjà endommagée... Non seulement ils abiment votre voiture et en plus ils vous font passer pour un menteur 😎. La classe. Réparations = 500€ triangle de direction complètement défoncé. D'après le garagiste probablement un trottoir pris en plein dans la roue à belle allure... Après de longs bataillages la moitié de la somme sera prise en charge par Easypark... Le fin mot de l'histoire c'est que le valet de parking a probablement omis de parler du trottoir qu'il s'est pris pour garder son travail, et que légalement il est difficile de prouver qu'ils vous ont abimé votre véhicule... A vous de voir si vous voulez passer par eux....

We’re planning a short trip at the end of July to explore the legendary mountains and valleys of the Bernese Oberland: round trip from Nancy (Swiss highway vignette planned), 2 nights in a room with a small kitchen in Adelboden, then 2 nights in a hotel at the Gletscherblick in Grindelwald, both with half-board included.
Could you share some tips on the best road routes to take, as well as some walking hikes (we’re not as fit as we used to be, so nothing longer than 2-3 hours)? Maybe also 1 or 2 cable car rides—I was thinking of Oeschinensee Lake above Kandersteg and the First gondola above Grindelwald for better panoramic views of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau... all while keeping it doable with our schedule. We’ve ruled out the "premium" trip up to the Jungfraujoch for this time.

I visited the Faroe Islands in late March 2026 for about ten days. I was invited by a friend who lives near Tórshavn, so I don’t have any info on tourist accommodations or car rentals. Still, I’d like to share a few thoughts about my trip:
- Before leaving, I consulted travel guides and blogs. I was surprised by how repetitive and unoriginal the featured sites were. This leads hurried travelers to follow the same overcrowded routes, which can annoy locals. I found that all Faroese villages were interesting—they reflect the country’s identity, even without the iconic grass-roofed houses. Those are indeed harmonious and beautiful, but they feel like an exotic cliché. For activities, I loved the lively ports that keep the country running.
- I was annoyed by the paid trails in tourist spots. Locals explained that these paths cross private land, and owners are responsible for maintenance and safety. There are plenty of free trails, too—signs at the start detail their features. While not alarmist, the extreme and unpredictable weather is a key factor to consider before setting out.
- The wind’s strength really impressed me. The architecture, with doors and windows opening outward to prevent gusts from blowing roofs off, speaks to the harsh climate. Some days, relentless rain and squalls made going outside unappealing. I realized that in this country, it’s best to plan for flexible indoor days.
- Distances are relatively short. I was happy to be based near Tórshavn because it was easy to explore one or more places in a day. The roads are in great condition. In late March, diesel was 2 €. Tunnel tolls can add up (~26 € per crossing), making a fixed base less practical than I’d thought.
- Everyone agrees: the landscapes are breathtaking. Nature feels untamed here—except for the short grass, thanks to all the woolly sheep.
- The flight from Paris to the Faroe Islands (and back) was long in March—11 hours with three legs: Paris-Amsterdam, Amsterdam-Copenhagen, Copenhagen-Vágar. In bad weather, Vágar Airport can close, causing delays. During tourist season, Atlantic Airways offers a direct Paris-Faroe Islands flight, which is more comfortable and cheaper.
- I found a book recommendation in a guide that fascinated me after my trip: *Les collectionneurs d'images* by Joanes Nielsen. Through its sometimes caricatured characters, it offers a glimpse into Faroese mentalities from the 1950s to 1970s—attitudes that likely persist today.
In conclusion, I’ve traveled a lot and I’m tired of destinations that all start to look the same. The Faroe Islands were a delight—a country stunning in its landscape, climate, and culture, where tourism has barely altered its authenticity.

We’re heading to Bavaria from May 13 to 23, with a side trip to Austria.
Here’s our itinerary:
Day 1: Brussels-Munich
Day 2: Munich
Day 3: Munich and departure for Salzburg
We’ll be staying three nights in Salzburg.
Then we’ll head to Garmisch-Partenkirchen, where we’ll stay for five nights.
Visiting Munich and Salzburg isn’t too tricky.
Once in Garmisch, we’re planning a day in Innsbruck, a day for Neuschwanstein Castle, and the rest is still up in the air.
What’s really got me stumped is that we’d love to see Königssee Lake—everyone says it’s a must-see.
We’d also like to visit the Eagle’s Nest (Kehlsteinhaus), where the landscapes are supposedly stunning.
This would either be a round trip while we’re in Salzburg or on the way between Salzburg and Garmisch, but I’m guessing it’s impossible to do the drive from Salzburg to Garmisch, the Eagle’s Nest, *and* Königssee Lake all in one day.
Plus, the Alpine route between Salzburg and Garmisch seems prettier than the highway.
But honestly, I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed with the planning.
We should’ve added a stop between Salzburg and Garmisch, but the hotels are already booked.

We’re planning a trip to Finland and Norway this summer, starting in Oulu to explore Lapland, heading up to the North Cape, and then making our way down to Bergen.
This route means renting a car in Finland and dropping it off in Norway. My initial searches are showing rental rates that are... astronomical—about three times the price compared to returning it at the starting point.

I’m sharing my draft itinerary with you because I just booked our flight tickets, and I feel like it’s quite late in the season. So, I’d like to be sure about my stops before reserving the hotels. I’ll be traveling alone with my two adult children. We want to prioritize outdoor walks, avoid too many indoor visits (both for budget and preference), and not spend too much time on the road.
D1: Arrival at 9 AM in Malaga, day in Malaga and overnight stay
D2: Head straight to Nerja (1-hour drive) and spend the night there
D3: Head straight to Granada (1.5-hour drive), spend the day and night there
D4: Granada. Visit the Alhambra (Nasrid Palaces tour at 5 PM) and spend the night
D5: Head to Ronda (2.5-hour drive) and spend the night
D6: White Villages and overnight in Ronda
D7: Head straight to the Costa del Sol (e.g., Estepona), spend the day and night there
D8: Return to Malaga to catch our flight
There you go! This itinerary takes into account that we’d like to do a circuit starting from Seville in a few years. That said, it’d be a shame to miss something doable from Malaga.
Questions:
Since the Alhambra visit is only at 5 PM, and we’d already have the day to explore Granada, would arriving the day before be a mistake? Or should we skip this day and dedicate it elsewhere (Costa del Sol? Head toward Tabernas?)? The old town appeals to me, but maybe the Sacromonte neighborhood isn’t essential...
Same question for Ronda: should we dedicate a full day to it, or combine Ronda and the White Villages in one day?
Note that we love wandering around villages outside, so that might answer my question! :)
Final question: Is it better to rent the car at Malaga Airport or in the city? If we rent at the airport, we’d need a hotel with parking, which doesn’t seem easy. Or stay outside the city and park for free near the center if possible? I’ve read comments about taking a taxi to Malaga and then picking up the rental car at the airport the next morning. The taxi would really need to be affordable...

My husband and I are planning a trip to Ireland in September 2026.
We’ll be flying from Montreal to London, where we’ll spend three nights.
After that, we’ll head to Dublin for a few days and take trains to visit the main attractions.
Our ideal plan would be to choose hotels near train stations and take tours to the interesting spots.
Would 8 days in Ireland be enough for this kind of trip?
