J'aimerais le rejoindre mais je suis un peu perdue dans les démarches administratives.
J'ai appelé l'ambassade du Gabon mais on ne savait pas répondre clairement à mes questions.
On m'a assuré qu'il fallait obligatoirement un visa avant de partir.
Quels sont les documents à fournir pour l'obtenir? Selon la personne de l'ambassade du Gabon, mon compagnon devrait faire une copie de sa carte de résidence et d'un certificat d'hébergement. Où peut-il obtenir ces documents et en combien de temps?
De plus, ai-je, quant à moi, besoin d'un billet d'avion aller et RETOUR?
Une fois sur place, quelles sont les conditions pour se voir octroyer une carte de séjour?
En sachant que nous ne sommes pas mariés et que je serai sans profession en arrivant dans le pays...
Pensez-vous que j'en obtiendrez une?
J'aurais également aimé savoir s'il était facile de trouver un emploi dans l'enseignement à POG?
Je possède une Maîtrise en traduction (anglais) et rêverait de pouvoir enseigner dans une école là-bas...

Il me semble qu'il n'y a plus d'ambassade belge au Gabon , je crois qu'il faut se renseigner auprès de celle de Brazzaville pour le Gabon....mais je peux me tromper, je ne suis plus très sûre...
Oui il te faut un visa pour l'arrivée.
Pour la carte de séjour c'est plus facile et ça va plus vite qd c'est une société de la place qui s'en occupe, à ton mari de voir ça avec sa direction, en général c'est ainsi que ça se passe. j'en avais eu une sans être mariée et sans etre en concubinage, par la suite, on a du faire un certificat de concubinage au consulat de France pour la renouveler, c'est plus facile pour l'obtenir, mais ça remonte, à l'heure actuelle je ne sais pas trop.
le cerificat d'hébergement se fait en mairie.

A vrai dire, je viens d’appeler l’Ambassade du Gabon.
Selon eux, l’obtention de la carte de séjour (après trois mois) serait difficile car nous ne sommes pas mariés et que je suis sans profession.
Je leur ai dit que mon but était de trouver un emploi endéans les trois mois. Mais selon eux, je n’en trouverai pas !

Vivre en France et travailler pour un gabonais est parfois difficile avec votre administration alors pourquoi voulez vous obtenir un titre de séjour au gabon sans emploi et sans être marié?ils seront même gentils de vous accorder le visa d'entrée je pense.

Les gens comme choucarde ou choucrade je ne sais plus... qui sont fiers de dire la simplicité avec laquelle ils obtiennent les papiers au gabon alors que les gabonais souffrent devrait plutôt vous conseiller sur le fait d'apprendre le respect des droits de l'homme c'est tout.

Oui notre administration est difficile, j'en sais aussi qq chose... sans doute plus que chez vous du moins qd on a les moyens de payer car il faut le dire pour "faire avancer un dossier" ou obtenir un tampon il faut payer plus que le tarif légal et on n'hésite pas à vous le faire comprendre(expérience vécue et j'en passe). C'est pour cela que ce sont les sociétés qui embauchent un expat qui en majorité s'occupent de la carte de séjour .
Aussi tu es peut etre vénère et je peux comprendre , mais cela n'excuse pas toutes tes paroles.
Et si à ces propos de dire la vérité, quand à comment ça se passe là bas que ce soit pour les expats ou les gabonais même, est inadmissible alors on va continuer à se taire tous et comme ça , ça arrange ceux qui s'en mettent plein les poches profitant de leur poste. Bon qd c'est un étranger blanc de surcroit c'est pas grave hein? Et pourtant certains gabonais aussi doivent passer à la caisse pour "faire avancer" un dossier quelconque!! D'ailleurs toi qui cherche du boulot là bas... à ce sujet tu sais très bien le népotisme rageant pour certains gabonais qualifiés mais qui ne connaissent personne. Et on est au courant des pressions de certaines autorités sur une entreprise pour faire embaucher untel ou untel le frere ou le cousin alors qu'il n'a pas les qualités....

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
