Je me présente, je m'appelle Rémy j'ai 20 ans et je vie en Belgique. L'année prochaine j'aimerai partir plusieurs mois en Thaïlande (j'hésite entre 6 et 10 mois) pour découvrir le pays, visiter un maximum et prendre mon temps. Et honnêtement je prends tout ce temps pour trouver un endroit ou je pourrais éventuellement vivre et travailler.
J'ai visité pas mal de forums mais ils me semblaient tous vraiment vieux donc j'ai toujours autant de questions. Par exemple: est-ce qu'en parlant allemand, français, et en ayant un anglais assez bon je pourrais m'en sortir ? J'ai entendu dire qu'on ne pouvait pas apprendre le Thaï, à part quelques expressions. (ça ne me décourage pas et j'essaie quand même d'apprendre un maximum^^)
Est-ce que j'ai besoin de gros diplômes si je veux trouver un travail sur place ? Je ne cherche pas à avoir une grosse maison, 3 piscines et 10 chambres, mais juste de quoi vivre normalement... Pour le moment je n'ai que mon CESS et un diplôme de gestion de base...
Est-ce qu'avec 5000 euros je tiendrais 10 mois ? (sans faire de folies encore une fois, à la limite sortir de temps en temps)
Je suis fort attiré par Bangkok (non, pas à cause de "the hangover 2;p"), et on m'a dit qu'avec 170 euro par mois je pouvais trouver un appartement, est-ce vrai ?
Et pour mon cas, qu'est-ce que je devrais prendre comme visa ?
Tes demandes sont assez contradictoires dans le sens où tu voudrais visiter le pays pendant un bon 6 mois tout en travaillant.
Au cas où tu l'ignores, la réglementation est très stricte en ce qui concerne le travail (rémunéré ou non) des étrangers. Ayant moi-même travaillé plus de 10 ans en Thaïlande, je peux te dire que les formalités sont longues, astreignantes et... coûteuses.
D'autre part, essayer de travailler sans permis de travail te mènera certainement à la case "prison" avant d'être balancé sur la case "départ" avec en prime un cachet de l'immigration dans ton passeport t'interdisant de revenir au Pays des Sourires pour une période plus ou moins longue. En l'occurrence, je te conseille d'oublier cette option.
Si tu viens ici en tant que touriste, un budget de 5.000 Euros me semble trop faible pour rester 10 mois en te baslladant dans le pays. Si tu fais attention a ton budget et qu'il ne t'arrive pas de pépin (accident ou autre), tu devrais pouvoir tenir 6 mois.
Tes informations sur l'impossibilité d'apprendre le thaï sont infondées. Si tu consultes d'autres articles sur ce forum, tu verras qu'il existe beaucoup d'écoles plus ou moins sérieuses qui enseignent le thaï aux étrangers. Un an de cours et le visa étudiant qui va avec te coûteront dans les 25,000 Bahts (environ 660 Euros au cours actuel). Au moins, ça te permettra d'assimiler les bases de la langue.
Ta présence aux cours n'étant pas obligatoire (bien que conseillée si tu veux apprendre quelque chose), ça te permettra d'être en règle pour ton permis de séjour et de te ballader dans le pays selon tes envies et ton budget.
Pour venir, je te conseille de prendre un simple visa de Touriste qui te permettra de rester 60 jours dans le pays (avec une relance d'un mois supplémentaire en faisant un visa-run mais on en parlera une autre fois si nécessaire). Pendant ce deux premiers mois, à toi de trouver une école de langue qui te convienne et de t'y inscrire. Ton établissement scolaire se chargera des formalités pour l'obtention du visa étudiant et du permis de séjour: c'est compris dans le prix des cours.

Bon courage pour ton voyage mais 5000 euros c'est short, surtout si tu aimes faire la fête, Bangkok never sleep et tu sors en général bien plus qu'en europe ( c'était mon cas)
Ayant vécu 5 ans à Bangkok et cummulé pas mal de petits boulots, c'est pas facile de trouver qqch en office....à moins d'être expat pour un grand groupe, mais ce genre de positions sont de plus en plus rare.
Le seul job "réservé" aux farangs, c'est d'être prof de langues, mais tu ne crouleras pas sous l'or, le salaire moyen est d'environ 30-40 mille baht maximum, ça part vite même sans faire trop d'excès, en plus bcp d'écoles ne font pas les démarches pour le work permit, bcp de profs enseignent avec un visa étudiant ou comme touriste, pas très légal...
Je te conseille plus de viser HK, il y a une forte communauté Francophone qui y travaille et c'est tout aussi plaisant comme coin pour y vivre :-)
Tout est beaucoup plus clair ! J'avoue que j'ai peut-être été contradictoire dans mes propos et je m'en excuse... J'ai peut-être voulu aller trop vite.
Vu que j'ai un budget assez faible, une toute autres solutions s'est offerte à moi: Mes parents sont prêt à m'avancer l'argent pour faire un mini "world tour" organisé par le WEP. Donc en bref, je vais passer 8 semaines en Équateur, 26 semaines en Australie et là je pourrais travailler sans trop de complications, et terminer par 8 semaines en Thaïlande...
Donc je vais profiter de ces deux mois de total liberté pour visiter et me renseigner un maximum, qui sais, avec un peu de chance... :)
Malgré les nombreuse difficultés je reste positif, je suis jeune et j'ai encore le temps après tout :)

Et voilà c'est réservé, je vais faire: 1 semaine d'introduction à la culture, 3 semaine de bénévolat social, 2 semaines de muay-thai (je peux bien commencer à m'entrainer haha^^), et 2 semaines de voyage libre.
Bon maintenant reste plus qu'à attendre le dépars et faire mon petit plan pour les deux semaines libre.
Comme tu mentionnais le WEP, que je ne connais pas, je suis allé jeter un oeil sur leur site.
Ma fille a 13 ans et va à l'école ici en anglais. Quand elle aura fini ses humanités, j'aimerais qu'elle refasse sa dernière année dans une école francophone en Belgique.
Je viens donc de contacter le WEP. Mais j'aimerais bien que tu me dises ce que tu penses de cette organisation puisque, apparemment, tu la connais déjà.
J'ai connu cette organisation grâce à une Équatorienne, qui est venue refaire sa rhéto en Belgique justement grâce au WEP.
C'est une équipe fort sérieuse et honnête, lors d'un entretien pour décider la formule de voyage que j'allais choisir, ils m'ont bien tout expliqué, ils n'ont pas essayé de me refiler la formule la plus chère et m'ont même permit d'en économiser pas mal d'argent.
Ce sont des gens qui ont voyagé et ils savent donc de quoi ils parlent (en tout cas celui avec qui j'ai parlé lors de l'entretien).
Je trouve également qu'ils sont rapide pour répondre au questions, modifications demandés etc, .
Par exemple j'ai demandé un devis, le lendemain je l'avais. J'ai demandé une petites modification, 20 minutes après j'avais un nouveau devis avec la modification.
