bonjour à tous et merci à tous ceux qui m'ont contacté et me tiennent au courant de leur démarches pour notre désir commun de partir aider les populations sinistrées en asie du sud.
De mon coté, quelques nouvelles, tout d'abord la réponse de l'organisation AID MADRAS que SSY m'a communiquée suceptible d'accepter tous volontaires, nous attendons d'autres réponses..
d'autre part, un autre contact m'a parlé des soeurs de la charité à MADRAS, le cugé des soeurs est certes à calcutta (j'y étais l'année dernière) mais il vrai que je n'avais pas pensée aux autres régions...il me semble que ce projet peut réellement aboutir car les réponses des ong ne sont pas toujours positives et demandent tout particulièrement des spécialistes...pourtant comme l'a tres bien spécifié matrix dans un de ces messages, l'heure est certes à l'urgence mais dans quelques mois, cette si grande mobilisation et solidarité s'estompera hélas alors que l'heure sera à la reconstruction et c à ce moment je pense que nous sommes tous suceptibles de continuer cette mobilisation et toutes les bonnes volontés seront les bienvenus...
si quelqu'un à d'autres pistes qu'il n'hésite pas à me contacter, tenons nous encore et toujours informé!j'aimerai essayer d'obtenir l'adresse des soeurs de la charité à MADRAS (contactez moi si vous avez plus de chance que moi),

Aid agencies working in the tsunami-hit coastal areas of Tamil Nadu are in a quandary. Relief materials and money are pouring in but there are not enough volunteers to take up rehabilitation work.

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

We currently have 2 wheelchairs that we would like to give to our partner, the Benin Handisport Federation. If you're traveling to Benin, alone or with someone, we could give you one of these 2 wheelchairs (or both). Out of the 40 kg of luggage you're allowed, a wheelchair will only take up less than half. Our partner can pick it up at Cotonou Airport...

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
