bonjour, je souhaite partir un an en australie vers sept/oct avec le working holiday visa et une question se pose: dois-je prendre un aller simple ou un aller-retour? prendre un aller-retour directement est avantageux question prix et j'ai vu que le billet retour est dispo un an après l'aller sur thai airwais par exemple, mais suis-je sur que la compagnie ne va pas mettre la clès sous la porte durant ce laps de temps par exemple? mais en ne prenant que l'aller, est-ce que je ne risque pas de payer mon retour plus cher la-bas?

Je pars pour l'australie aussi en octobre. J'ai également pris le working holyday visa... Pour répondre à ta question, je crois que tu es mieux de prendre un billet aller-retour. Je me suis faite dire que le coût des billets achetés en Australie pouvait être assez cher et en effet, il revient souvent moins cher de prendre un billet aller-retour que 2 allées simples. De plus, si tu veux ton whv, si tu n'as pas de billet de retour, il te faudra avoir une lettre de ta banque pour leur montrer (rendu à l'aéroport de sydney pour faire estamper ton passeport) que tu as le budget nécessaire pour un billet de retour pour pouvoir quitter le pays à l'expiration de ton visa soit max 1 an plus tard (tu dois avoir quelque chose comme 4000$ dans ton compte je crois). Si tu as déjà ton billet de retour, c'est plus simple, ils ne sont pas supposés demander de preuve de ce type.
C'est certain que la décision te revient, mais pour ma part, je préfèrais avoir réglé la question de l'avion avant mon départ puisque c'est une grosse dépense et en la faisant avant de partir, mon budget est plus clair...je peux mieux savoir combien d'argent j'ai exactement pour mon voyage comme tel rendu en Australie et si jamais je dois revenir avant pour une raison quelconque, je n'aurai pas à me préoccuper à savoir si j'ai assez d'argent ou pas... Informe-toi auprès d'une agence pour jeunes voyageurs dans ton coin, il y a souvent des billets pour l'Australie qui te permettent de changer ta date de retour à faible prix après ton départ. J'ai acheté le mien avec le prix pour les voyageurs de 25 ans et moins chez Voyages Campus et puis on a mis des dates fictives puisque je n'ai aucune idée du temps que je vais passer en Australie (2-3-10 mois??) et si je veux changer tout ça, pour 50$ c'est fait! C'Est assez simple.

En Australie j'ai tellement l'intention de faire plein de choses... premièrement, moi et mon amie on prendra probablement nos cours de plongée sous-marine lors de notre 2 semaines en Polynésie Française avant notre arrivée en Australie alors c'est certain qu'on ira en faire à la Grande Barrière de Corail entres autres. On veut aussi surfer le plus possible! Mon amie adore aussi les sauts en chute libre alors peut-être en faire avec elle au moins essayer ça une fois... On veut vraiment visiter le plus possible, se promener, explorer, camper un peu, aller dans l'outback.... J'aimerais aussi essayer le travail sur une ferme avec le programme Woof. Bref, j'aimerais faire le tour et profiter à fond de mon voyage mais juste le fait d'être en Australie, de sortir de la routine quotidienne du 9h à 5h lundi au vendredi et de me sentir libre ça fera mon bonheur et le reste, j'ai prévu de laisser aller les choses au gré des rencontres et de nos envies une fois sur place! 😉 Et toi quels sont tes projets une fois en Australie? Est-ce que tu pars seul?

en fait je part avec un pote et on a le mème but que toi à vrai dire. on veut s'acheter un van une fois arrivé à sydney et bouger, faire du surf, découvrir le plus possible et s'éclater quoi! bien sur travailler un peu, mais plus des vendanges, ramassage de fruits, trucs comme ça et aussi woof. tout ça dans l'improvisation bien sur!😎 je fais de la photo donc je crois que je vais beaucoup me faire plaisir de ce coté là et mon pote kiffe les plantes, la nature, tout ça et là-bas c'est le paradis! enfin y'a plein de trucs qui nous motivent à bouger ( have you seen paris suburb in daylight?😐 ) voila quoi😉
et vous, vous ètes quebecquoises toutes les deux ou vous vivez juste là-bas?
On a pas mal les mêmes plans oui! S'acheter une van....j'y avais pensé aussi mais je ne sais pas, ça va dépendre de notre budget je crois! Mais j'avoue que c'est le meilleur moyen de voyager. Moi aussi j'adore la photo mais jsuis loin d'être une pro, je m'amuse plutôt à prendre des photos d'un peu n'importe quoi depuis que j'ai mon appareil numérique, y'a rien qui ne vaut pas la peine d'être pris 😏 J'ai d'ailleurs l'intention de m'acheter un autre appreil numérique avant le voyage. Je me suis rendue compte au Costa Rica cette année que le mien vallait pas grand chose côté zoom...juste prendre mon cousin en surf que je voyais très bien à l'oeil, c'était impossible....on ne voit qu'un ptit bonhomme à l'eau sur ma photo! Alors ce sera un must pour l'australie un méga zoom! 😉 Et pour répondre à ta question, oui on est toute les 2 québécoises et pour ma part, j'ai toujours vécu ici mais je commence à avoir un bon bagage côté voyage 😎

en effet, je pars pour l'Australie (entre autres) dans 6 semaines seulement! 😎 Si tu pars en janvier, tu as le temps, ne t'en fais pas.
Premièrement, si tu veux y travailler, une des premières étapes serait de faire la demande pour ton whv. Tu peux la faire par internet directement et ça ne te prendra que quelques jours avant d'avoir ta réponse. Pour les jobs, je ne saurais quoi te dire.. moi je n'ai pas vraiment l'intention de travailler dans mon domaine puisque je veux bouger beaucoup donc je ne veux pas me trouver un emploi qui m'obligera à rester en ville pendant plusieurs semaines. J'ai plutôt l'intention de faire de la cueillette de fruits par ci par là ou bien du travail sur une ferme ou des petites jobines comme ça, histoire de me refaire un petit budget pour continuer le voyage et de toujours rester au grand air!🙂
Côté itinéraire, tu devrais t'acheter un guide de voyage comme le lonely planet et regarder un peu ce qui t'intéresse dans chaque région et te donner une certaine idée des endroits que tu ne veux pas rater... Je vais te dire franchement, je n'ai pas préparé mon voyage en détail...je ne sais pas vraiment où je vais me ramasser. Une chose est sûre, on arrive à Sydney et on devrait monter la côte Est pour aller vers la Grande Barrière de Corail mais à part ça, on va y aller au gré des rencontres et de nos envies une fois sur place! J'aimerais bien sûr aller dans le désert et faire du camping puisque je pars avec une tente.
Pour le logement, dans ton guide de voyage, tu verras, tu as l'embarras du choix! De notre côté, on a fait aucune réservation, on va regarder les backpackers hostels et essayer de camper pas mal aussi j'aimerais bien, ça coûte pas très cher et j'adore ça! Donc tu n'as pas à t'en faire non plus pour le logement, mais tout dépend aussi de ton projet de voyage... Si tu veux travailler dans une ville et y rester plusieurs mois, tu pourras regarder pour louer un apartement avec d'autres voyageurs, c'est commun et ce n'est pas trop cher puisque tu partages le loyer avec plusieurs personnes. Voici quelques adresses où tu peux regarder pour les logements:
Côté billet, si tu vas seulement en Australie, à partir de Paris, tu pourras sans doute trouver un bon billet qui t'offrira probablement aussi un arrêt au île Fiji en chemin... informe toi sur le forum, j'ai déjà entendu parler mais comme je viens de montréal, je ne suis pas trop au courant des billets à partir de l'Europe.
Alors voilà, c'est peut-être vague comme réponse, mais j'espère que ça t'aidera à débuter tes recherches! Ne stress pas trop avec ça, même si tu essaierais de tout planifier, tu n'y arriverais pas et tu n'aurais aucun avantage puisqu'il est certain qu'une fois sur place, tes plans changeront des dizaines de fois!!! 😏
