Après lectures et recherches, nous envisageons les étapes suivantes au Cambodge en janvier 2027 : - Phnom Penh - Kampong Cham - Kratie - Siem Reap - Battambang - Kampot (A/R)

Je m'interroge sur le sens de ces étapes, ce qui peut également conditionner nos vols internationaux. Soit un aller/retour depuis Phnom Penh dans l'ordre ci-dessus. Soit un atterrissage à Siem Reap avec l'ordre suivant :

- Battambang (A/R) - Siemp Reap / Angkor - Kratie - Kampong Cham - Phnom Penh - Kampot (A/R)

Cette 2ème option nous éviterait le trajet Battambang - PP - Kampot mais suppose de faire un A/R Battambang depuis Siem Reap et de placer le "clou du voyage" (Angkor) au début de notre séjour..

Qu'en pensez-vous?

We're considering doing the PP - Sen Monorom route by private taxi. Does anyone have an idea of the price for such a distance (380 km)?

I’m planning a trip to Cambodia and was set on visiting the Ratanakiri region, which seemed to match what we love most in terms of landscapes: forests, jungle, greenery...

However, as I started looking into the area, I read that deforestation there is massive, and some of the info on the topic is years old—the situation hasn’t improved since, unfortunately.

So my question is: is Ratanakiri still worth visiting, and does it justify the long travel time and distance to get there?

I’ve seen that jungle treks are possible, but from experience, I know guides sometimes hesitate to venture deep into the forest and stick to shorter walks along the edges of parks.
