Accommodation in Agadir
Location Map of Agadir
Overview
Given its tourist vocation, Agadir has a very large hotel sector with countless mid-range and upscale or "all-inclusive" establishments. Budget or backpacker-friendly hotels, however, are proportionally fewer than elsewhere. Logically enough, seafront accommodations are the most expensive.
For those looking for an alternative to Agadir, Taghazout, about fifteen kilometres to the north, also offers seafront accommodations.
Hotels of all kinds
A very wide choice, primarily with major chains and upscale hotels located by the sea. Otherwise, the Talborjt district is where you’ll find more affordable establishments.
Riad
While riads are a Moroccan specialty, "real" ones are quite rare in Agadir, which no longer has these large traditional charming houses. In fact, you’ll find a bit of everything architecturally under this label, used primarily for commercial purposes.
All-inclusive
Camping
Agadir is well-equipped for camping, starting with a very well-located municipal campsite on Boulevard Mohammed V. Several others are nearby, particularly to the north on the Essaouira road. Most meet "European standards" (including Wi-Fi in some) and offer bungalows for rent. Expect to pay less than 10 €/day for a basic pitch for two people.
