The City

Founded in the 15th century and relatively isolated for decades, the town has preserved its beautiful architecture, gardens, and Andalusian craftsmanship. The medina and the kasbah are the two main points of interest in the city.

A few kilometres from Chefchaouen, this forested site offers stunning landscapes perfect for hiking. It is also one of the places in Morocco to observe Barbary macaques.

Rif Mountains ★★
