Climate and Weather in Cadiz
Location Map of Cádiz
Climate Overview
Although Cadiz is on the Atlantic coast, its climate can be considered Mediterranean, with dry, hot summers and mild winters (some rain in late autumn and spring). It enjoys almost constant sunshine. Thanks to the sea, the climate remains "livable" in summer, unlike inland areas where temperatures can become scorching in July and August, such as in Seville, which isn’t far from the coast.
As is often the case, the shoulder seasons are good times to visit, though the rest of the year isn’t unpleasant either. If anything, tourist crowds may be more of a factor than the weather when choosing when to go.
