Airports in Buenos Aires

The Argentine capital has two airports:

  • Ezeiza International Airport: although it is officially "the international airport" of the city and the best known abroad, it handles less traffic than its counterpart Jorge Newbery.
  • Jorge Newbery Airport: located almost in the city centre, it specialises in domestic traffic and flights to/from neighbouring countries. This does not stop it from being one of the busiest airports in South America.
