Airports in Osaka

The Osaka metropolitan area has two airports, the first being Kansai Airport, one of the country's most important. It is complemented by Itami Airport, which has more modest traffic.

• Kansai International Airport: This is one of the most significant hubs in this part of Asia and the primary international gateway to the region. It is located on an island in Osaka Bay.

• Itami Airport: Although officially called Osaka International Airport, Itami almost exclusively offers domestic flights.
