Rome's Airports
The Rome metropolitan area has two airports:
- Rome Fiumicino Airport: Italy's main airport and one of Europe's busiest in terms of traffic.
- Rome Ciampino Airport: Once Rome's primary airport until the 1960s, it now mainly serves low-cost carriers like Ryanair and Wizz Air.
