Climate
The Galapagos have a highly variable climate influenced by different marine currents. From January to May, the coasts experience showers, while the interior sees very little rain. For the rest of the year, there is no rain, but coastal fog (garúa) occurs, while the highlands, also misty, receive rainfall. Overall, the beginning of the year remains the best time to visit.
