Getting to Tunisia by Land or Sea
Location Map of Tunisia
By Land
Borders
The country shares borders with Algeria (965 km) and Libya (459 km).
From Neighbouring Countries
The entire border area with Libya is not recommended for security reasons. As for the border with Algeria, it is open at several points (note that foreigners cannot obtain an Algerian visa from Tunisia). However, the entire southern section should be avoided for security reasons, as well as some areas further north. The crossing at Tabarka remains the best option.
