Overview of Luxor
This is the main tourist city of Upper Egypt. Beyond the Nile cruises, ancient Thebes offers its museum and famous temples (Luxor, Karnak), as well as the Valley of the Kings, the Valley of the Queens, and the Valley of the Nobles, along with other archaeological sites (Medamud, etc.). All of ancient Thebes is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
