Baggage and equipment to bring

During the southern summer, pack light clothing plus a sweater for evenings or air conditioning. The rest of the year, mid-season or slightly warmer clothes will suffice, including on the coast where temperatures are lower than inland, especially at night. Don’t forget sun protection, mosquito repellent in some areas, and rain gear—rain falls a few days each month year-round.
