Location Map of Pacific Northwest
Idaho

It's one of the least-known places in the country abroad. Yet this Rocky Mountain state is renowned for its stunning landscapes, snow-capped peaks, waterfalls, lakes, and canyons. Sparsely populated, nature dominates here to the point that Idaho has built a reputation for adventure and outdoor activities, especially skiing.
Oregon

Like the rest of the region, Oregon is a magnificent land where the ocean, mountains, and forests meet. Its rugged coastline and sometimes endless beaches contrast with the high peaks of the interior, with their waterfalls, lakes, and rivers. Oregon is a state for lovers of adventure and wild nature, though not far from the coast, several cities cluster together, the largest of which is Portland.
Washington (state)

With its major metropolis, Seattle, and proximity to the Canadian city of Vancouver, the state of Washington offers a dynamic image on all levels, including economically, with companies like Boeing and Microsoft headquartered here. But beyond these urban areas, Washington is primarily a nature state—both along its coastline, notably the Puget Sound, that astonishing inlet stretching to Seattle, and in the interior, where mountains can exceed 14,000 feet, as at Mount Rainier National Park.
