Quand on poste ce genre d'information sur un forum de voyages, il faut être certain de ses sources. Je trouve que trop de personnes s'engouffrent dans le drame survenu en Tunisie et s'en servent à mauvais escient.
Les salafistes agissent même à visage découvert pour inciter les jeunes à s'engager auprès
des organisations terroristes.
C'est leur façon de procéder partout dans le monde. Prendre en mains des jeunes à la dérive pour les utiliser ... Je n'ai pas dit que cela ne se passait pas à Djerba.
Dans un post précédent je posais la question : à qui profite les actes terroristes en Tunisie ? j'avais peur pour la jeune démocratie en construction .
Ce soir la déclaration de l'état d'urgence qui restreint les libertés ( notamment celles de rassemblement) vient d'être proclamé .
Je doute que l'état d'urgence puisse mettre fin à des actes terroristes ....suis je trop pessimiste ?

Pour les 50 ans de ma femme au mois d'Aout (la ou je lui offre les billets) je préparais pour 15 jours en octobre ...
La aussi cas de conscience , doit on céder a la terreur , certes moins exposé ici mais Grenoble la semaine passée , l'affaire merah , tant d'autres fous que l'on doit surement croiser dans nos banlieues parisienne, marseillaises , lyonnaise etc...

Pour moi et mon homme qui allons 2 à 3 fois par an en Tunisie....location où hôtel, nous sommes allé en mai 2015 et tout s'est très bien passé...Là nous avons pris des vols secs aller pour Djerba le 20 aout 2015 pour 10 - 15 jours environ et un séjour en Hôtel à Djerba du 1 au 18 oct 2015.....et nous allons y allé.
Bien sûr avec des enfants il y a toujours la crainte. Nous allons voir déjà au mois d'aout l'ambiance... Mais ça peut arriver n'importe où ces foutus attentats !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nous adorons la Tunisie et les Tunisiens et pour l'instant nous n'annulons rien.
Depuis vendredi : police ++ en zone touristique, surveillance max des plages,
celà se traduit par plus d'hommes armés que de touristes sur les plages de la ZI,
par contre le centre ville de Houmt Souk ou Midoun que dalle ou si peu ...,
au carrefour El May/Houmt Souk et Er Riadh : barrage mais ça c'est pour surveiller la Griba
barrages renforcés (il y en a eu tjs, mais là ç ++++) à l'arrivée des bacs à Ajim, ainsi qu'à la voie romaine, contrôle identité et fouille systématique des voitures Lybiennes

Je sais que tout grand lieux touristique est susceptible de sauter dans n(importe quel pays aujourd’hui.
Ce qui me fait le plus peur c'est que je voulais louer une voiture et faire Tunis le sud et retour Tunis en ayant réservé une partie dans des lieux insolites du coté de Chénine ou Douriet au gite troglodyte "chez Raouf" ...
On serait donc seul sur les routes en descendant vers le sud qui parait t'il est le plus dangereux .

Il y a une différence entre le pays dont on est citoyen où on reste quoi qu'il arrive parce qu'on y a ses racines, sa famille, ses amis - et un pays de vacances, choisi pour son climat ou ses prix avantageux, qu'on quittera sans hésiter dès qu'il devient moins attrayant.

- Does it need to cover the entire duration of the trip?
- Is this document mandatory for a hotel to rent a room?

- Is a hotel booking (e.g., via Booking.com) sufficient for the visa?
- If so, does it need to be paid in advance?

I’d like to do a route that’s a bit different from my first stay, which was more focused on cities and culture (Tunis, Sousse, Kairouan, El Jem).
I’ll be getting around by public transport.
I’d like to head south toward Tozeur, and I saw that you can take a *louage* from Monastir to Sbeitla (2h30). I imagine it’s not too complicated to get to Tozeur from there afterward? The issue is the return trip to Monastir and safety in Sbeitla.
If this route seems too complicated, I might opt for Djerba instead, which looks simpler.

Day 9-10: Rabat (I’ve heard mixed things... some good, some bad)
After that, I have the choice of heading back to Tangier for my return flight... or going down to Agadir (also a possible return flight) and extending my trip by 5 days :)
From what I can tell, everything is well connected by bus (CTM) or train (ONCF).
Another question: Is the vibe in Moroccan youth hostels for meeting people the same as what you’d find in Western Europe?

(though there are fraudulent sites out there). On the official site, they ask for legitimate info
(name, nationality, etc.). What made me go "hmm" was the request for both an email address
AND a password (with confirmation). Is this normal?

A lot of people find it important to stick to their budget when traveling—not to skimp, but to visit as many places as possible since traveling is their hobby.
In this post, I want to share some tips for those coming to Morocco who want their trip to be budget-friendly.
1. Prebook everything: hotels or riads, car rentals, or tours. If you book these in advance, it’ll make your life easier. You won’t have to deal with hagglers or people trying to overcharge you for services that are available online for free. Use platforms like Booking, Expedia, carsrental.ma, Airbnb, and other booking services to get this done properly.
2. Exchange your money to Moroccan dirhams as soon as you land. 1 € is always a little over 10 dirhams, but many people get charged as if it were exactly 10 dirhams per euro.
3. When visiting an old site or the old medina, avoid talking to vendors and shop owners—they’re really good at getting your attention and making you overpay for things.
4. Ask your tour guide to buy things for you. Yes, they do get a commission, but you’ll probably pay way more if you buy something yourself that they can get cheaply.
5. Walk everywhere. You don’t need a taxi for every little trip. Pick a good location and walk—most Moroccan cities are safe during normal hours.
6. Buy your food, drinks, etc., from supermarkets at normal prices. They can’t overcharge you since they scan every product.

I’m planning my next trip outside Europe for next year, but unfortunately, I don’t have a choice with the dates—it’s late June to early July. Last year, I went to Japan for three weeks, and it was constantly 36-37°C with over 90% humidity. It wasn’t easy, but it wasn’t impossible either.
For Egypt, I know it’s a period to avoid if possible, but I’m thinking that by the sea, it might be manageable. Otherwise, I’ll consider another destination.
