Rest assured, the weather is gorgeous.

Good, because here it's still pouring down!

I was there a week ago—it’s beautifully hot. But still, watch out after sunset; the cold in these parts can be harsh! 🙂

In April, temperatures should rise, even in the evenings. Fingers crossed.

Where? In Morocco or in France?

In France and Morocco. I hope so.

It's summery. Gorgeous.

Hello, I don’t get what’s wrong with revisiting old travel journals! There are so many I haven’t seen yet. And since right now there’s only one journal about Morocco in progress, it’s like flipping through old photo albums. Besides, you seem to enjoy them too, since you’re here... Otherwise, why else would you be?

@Aoreora

Bored? What’s that got to do with Trostang’s travel journal? I don’t know Jeean’s point of view, but I’ll answer since I also wrote "I don’t understand" in my last post: So, THE journal—I’ve just finished with it. As has been nicely hammered home: this isn’t on-trip, so I’m looking elsewhere—that is, other travel journals—and those who want to check out other journals do the same. No need to start a fight over other journals! And you can stop your witch hunt! Halloween’s over.

Bored? What does that have to do with Trostang’s travel journal? I don’t know Jeean’s point of view, but I’ll respond since I also wrote "I don’t understand" in my last post. I completely agree with you. When a travel journal or discussion doesn’t interest me, I choose to ignore it.

I followed your advice—just like on our first trip—and we spent a few nights in Aourir while we explored the area. But we stayed at the Inou Hotel. Super comfortable, really friendly, and very professional.

Will we know more soon? The Inou Hotel is nice, that's true. I go there from time to time too.

Hi Daniel, Before diving into writing the little travel journal I promised about our October trip, I started by sorting the photos. And I remembered the photo that went with this sentence you wrote about your walk in the lovely almond-tree valley near Skoura.

"We continue our journey toward the end of the valley. ............. It's breathtakingly beautiful."

Well, guess what—we actually found the shepherd you photographed that day! As surprising as it may seem, I really think it was him, near the well with his entire flock. A magical moment where time stood still...

What do you think?

Léa
TR Trostang Globetrotter ·
Indeed, it’s likely the same well. Same shepherd, maybe? What’s certain is that it’s an amazing spot! Gorgeous! Especially when you’re lucky enough to see herds coming to drink. That happens pretty often since shepherds have to take their animals there daily when they’re in the area.
MI Milo53 Regular ·
The shepherds are sometimes nomadic, so it’s not certain it’ll be the same person. But why not?
JE Jeeaan Globetrotter ·
The photo is beautiful. You can really feel the serenity of the moment. Even if a shepherd's life isn't always idyllic!
JE Jeeaan Globetrotter ·
For the beauty of Morocco in April, it's still relevant... thanks for your understanding.

I’m really excited to leave when I see these gorgeous photos.
