Will it ever open? Not sure!
SO Soju Veteran ·
Well, we’ll have to wait to see the skeleton of that famous dinosaur!

and you shouldn't be in a hurry.... It's been a while since we've talked about it...

There are dinosaur footprints near Demnate. Do you know about them?
SO Soju Veteran ·
No, not yet. But is it worth the trip?
SOJU
HA Hannahannah Globetrotter ·
I’d tend to say, like all dinosaur footprints, it depends on what you know and what you’re looking for. Experts will certainly find plenty to interest them, but personally, I didn’t see any big differences from the ones I’ve seen in Spain.

What might seem "amazing" to one person can feel ordinary to another. For me, spotting a black stork (very rare) can be absolutely enchanting—I could spend the whole day there and even come back the next. Anyway, the footprints aren’t far from the Imin’ifri bridge, and the walk is definitely worth it for the scenery. After that, you can reach the Aït Bougmez Valley. There’s only a small section (30 km) that’s not paved, and the track is good even with a Logan.

Yes, I saw those dinosaur tracks. And I agree with Hannah—it’s tough when you don’t know much about it.

We didn't go there, but with kids, it must be worth the detour!
DD Dd44 Veteran ·
The kids, it’ll obviously make them dream.
SO Soju Veteran ·
So, we'll note it down and try to swing by there. Thanks.

I took a look at my photos, but none of them are interesting... So no photos... Maybe some of you have some?

No problem. See you!

Good evening,

I’m glad to hear the museum is still open. That’s great! I visited it 2 or 3 years ago... Are there any events planned for May?

Thanks.
SO Soju Veteran ·
It was indeed open!
SOJU
TR Trostang Globetrotter ·
Personally, I’ve been there before, some time ago. But I’d read on a forum that it was closed. It’s better this way!

Thanks for these photos. I’m leaving at the end of the week.

Lovely photos, Julien. And what a beautiful palm grove! We couldn’t resist the temptation to make a quick trip there. And as expected, we didn’t regret it! Peacefulness and authenticity are definitely present. Pure bliss!

Crossing the wadi and the ever-reliable 4L safely parked!

The famous 4L—I even feel like I’ve already seen it!

Has the bridge been repaired? I haven’t been there in 4 years. Locals had to use it even though it was covered in tarps and wood. Sorry, the photo’s blurry—taken from too far away LOL

Thanks for these photos. Spring is extraordinary in Morocco.
SOJU
TR Trostang Globetrotter ·
Especially this year... And since it rained and snowed late this spring, the country should benefit from it a bit longer too.

This year, Morocco was stunning. Extraordinary contrasts and colors. What a beautiful country!

What a beautiful country! We're convinced—we spend several months there every year. And we never get tired of it!

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know if the dinosaur museum has opened yet? Or will it be open by February 2016? Thanks!
TR Trostang Globetrotter ·
I don’t think it’s open! I’ll check it out...

Kids are always welcomed so warmly. Having them around often makes it easier to connect with people. And for the kids, it’s an amazing opportunity to discover this country!

Good evening,

Does anyone know if the dinosaur museum has opened its doors yet? Or will it be open for February 2016? Thank you.

My brother and his little family are planning to spend the All Saints' holiday in Morocco, in the Skoura area, and they’d love to visit the dinosaur museum. But will it be open? Thanks for letting me know if you have any info.

hi, the museum isn't open yet. But you can visit the ethnographic museum in Skoura.

The dinosaur is supposedly in France at the moment.

Will it come back, won’t it?????

Mystery.
JE Jeeaan Globetrotter ·
Instead of a dinosaur museum, we visited the cinema museum—or rather the film sets—in Ouarzazate. Obviously, there’s no comparison, and it’s way overpriced for what’s offered.
DA Danilo69 Regular ·
Yes, it's a pretty nice visit with kids.
