je suis étudiant en licence de droit, j'ai 21 ans et j'aimerais pouvoir me rendre utile cet été en prenant part à une action humanitaire en Afrique, et surtout au Sénégal que j'affectionne tout particulièrement.
Je recherche donc une organisation ou une association qui aurait besoin de bénévoles à envoyer sur le terrain, en particulier pour cet été, période correspondant pour ma part à mes vacances scolaires.
Je ne suis jamais allé au Sénégal et je ne parle pas les dialectes locaux (Wolof, Soninké, Peul, etc.) si ce n'est que quelques mots! Toujours est-il que je ne manque pas de motivation et que je pourrais me rendre opérationnel pour 2 mois entiers, juillet et août 2007.
J'ai débuté ma prospection il n'y a pas si longtemps et je n'ai obtenu aucune réponse pour le moment alors si vous avez quoi que ce soit qui pourrez m'intéresser surtout n'hésitez pas!
note: s'il était nécessaire d'apporter une contribution pécunière à la hauteur de mon budget cela ne me dérangerait pas, mais soyons clairs je ne cherche pas à partir en vacances à un prix réduit mais je cherche bel et bien à apporter ma contribution, même modeste, pour améliorer le monde et essayer de corriger certaines inégalités.
Tu peux apprendre le Wolof livre et CD assimil. Seules les personnes ayant accédé aux études secondaires en général pratiquent la langue française. Celà facilitera énormément tes échanges.
j'ai été sur le site que tu m'as indiqué et j'ai envoyé un mail à l'adresse que j'ai pu trouvé là-bas, par contre je ne sais pas si c'est effectivement celle d'Annie ou de quelqu'un d'autre, donc je n'ai pas dit que c'était toi qui m'avais donné le site.
D'autres part j'ai vu dans une autre discussion que les enfants venaient une fois toutes les 2 semaines, ne serait-ce pas plutôt 2 fois par semaine comme ça a l'air d'être indiqué sur le site??
Autre remarque, en consultant vos photos je me suis rendu compte qu'il n'y avait, sauf erreur de ma part, qu'exclusivement des garçons parmi les enfants de l'association, n'y aurait-il pas de filles talibées??
mais le Wolof ne concernerait-il pas plus particulièrement la région de Dakar?
De nombreux villages ne parlent que le Soninké par exemple...
Enfin je me doute bien qu'il est impossible d'apprendre tous les dialectes, Wolof, Soninké, Peul, Diakhanké, Mandingue, Diola, Sérère, Bassari, Manjack, etc... Mais il me semble que Wolof, Soninké et Peul sont les principaux dialectes.
Si le français est la langue officielle, le Wolof est la langue la plus courament utilisée entre ethnies dans la majeure partie du Sénégal.
Pour le choix d'une association, c'est un choix qui est personnel et certainement difficile.
Il faut faire un bilan personnel sur ses compétences à partager
ses aptitudes à s'intégrer à un groupe qu'il est souhaitable de rencontrer longuement avant le départ,
avoir défini des objectifs communs.
Les déceptions sont fréquentes chez ceux qui partent sans préparation.

c'est effectivement deux fois par semaine, et non pas toutes les deux semaines. Mais il y a la préparation de la veille, sans compter que certains viennent tous les jours, car on il y des ballons de foot à leur disposition. En fait, avec les activités, il n'y a qu'un seul jour de repos.
Effectivement, il n'y a pas de talibés filles, uniquement des garçons.

La première de 2007 vient de se terminer, la prochaine a lieu au Niger du 4 au 18 mai, et la suivante au Sénégal du 12 au 26 octobre. Après, faut voir si tu peux de permettre de zapper 2 semaines de cours...
Pour une idée concrète de l'aide que tu pourrais apporter à SSP, je te conseille de lire le journal de bord d'une mission. Sur leur site internet http://santesanspasseport.free.fr/ tu cliques sur "En direct..." sur le menu de gauche, et ensuite tu clique sur "Journal de bord" en bas de la page.

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
