mon mari doit partir en stage à Cernivci(sud Ukraine) pour juillet 2007 et septembre, octobre, novembre 2007 mais nous ne connaissons rien de ce pays.Nous avons déjà vécu à l'étranger(Brésil)mais nous pensons bien que cela est completement différent.Nous aimerions connaitre comment est la vie la-bas(culture, religions, coutumes, alimentation, climat...)et comment sommes-nous percus en tant que francais.Quel est le niveau de vie?
Et pour y vivre avec femme et enfants(4 et 7 ans), comment cela peut-il etre envisagé?

Je vis a Kiev actuellement et connais bien l'Est mais aussi Lvov ou j'ai egalement vecu.
L'Ukraine n'aura evidemment rien a voir avec le Bresil. C'est un pays egalement en plein developpement mais dont les villes de Kiev ou de l'Est notamment Donetsk profitent plusque les autres parties du pays.
Tchernivtsi est situe dans la region Ouest du pays c'est a dire la ou le developpement est le plus lent.
Dans cette partie de l'Ukraine, la langue ukrainienne sera a privilegie plutot que le russe.
Le niveau de vie est bien plus faible dans cette region que dans les autres parties du pays. Les francais sont en general tres bien vu.
Vous vous trouverez dans une region tres nationaliste et pour vous adapter je vous conseille d'apprendre quelques mots en ukrainien. Ce sera tres apprecie.
Vous susciterez la curiosite. Ne vous fiez pas a la froideur exterieure des gens. Une fois la carapace enlevee, on decouvre des gens tres accueillants, sympathiques et ouverts. L'alcool fait partie de la culture, attention a ne pas se faire pieger, mais y renoncer completement pourrait etre neanmoins mal percu.
Les ukrainiens sont orthodoxes et sont tres croyants meme si le fait d'aller a l'eglise ou de faire le signe de croix devant une vierge n'est fait que pour se rattraper de tous les ecarts de comportement effectues durant la semaine.
Concernant les activites touristiques, je crains qu'il n'y est pas grand chose a faire a part visiter leurs eglises traditionnelles......

Est-ce qu tu sais comment aller à tchernisti de Paris? il y a t'il un aéroport?
Pour aller à Tchernivtsi, vous pouvez prendre l'avion Paris-Kiev, puis faire Kiev-Tchernivtsi en avion en 1h30 (seul hic, c'est que les avions sur cette ligne interne datent des temps soviétiques, ce sont des avions à hélices, un peu bruyants, et pas trop comfortables). Autre possibilité, c'est de prendre un train de nuit de Kiev à Tchernivtsi, il faut compter à peu près 12h de train pour ce trajet.
Peut-on vous demander dans quel domaine se fera le stage en question? Je connais très bien la ville de Tchernivtsi (je suis née dans la région), donc si vous avez d'autres questions pratiques - n'hésitez pas!!!

Eh bien les Ukréniens aiment les français, surtout la langue française. Et sont trés admiratifs des gens qui la maîtrisent. Justement, lors de mon séjour à Kiev, j'ai fait la connaîssance d'une famille française, qui, à la base vivait en Pologne, donc l'adaptation n'a pas été difficile, surtout au niveau de la langue, car le Polonais et le Russe sont apparemment un peu similaire.
Cette famille habitait, habite toujours j'imagine, à Zoloti Borota, un cartier trés chic de Kiev, son mari travaille au consulat français là-bas.
Cette dame m'a dit qu'il y avait plus de 600 français à Kiev, et que finalement elle s'y plaisait pas mal là-bas. Elle travaillait (travaille toujours j'imagine) à l'école française, où ses gosses y allaient. Donc voilà.

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
