Hello, I’ll be on the Costa Serena from April 27 to May 4, 2027. Given that the excursions offered by Costa can sometimes be pricey, what would you recommend for the following stopovers? Cagliari. Tunis. Palermo. Marseille. Thanks for keeping in mind that we’re in our sixties and one member of our small group can’t handle very long walks (so no more than 6 km in a day). Thank you for your help.

Hi, For the layover in PALERMO in 2024 with MSC, we had booked a local taxi—a minibus for up to 8 people—and we explored Palermo up close, visiting various monuments and other nearby spots (Monreale) for 50 € per person for 5 hours in 2024. I can’t remember how to send you the details in a private message... Mum49

In Marseille, if you don’t know the city, take the little tourist train that goes to Notre Dame de la Garde (departure: 174 Quai du Port) or the tourist bus that circles the city (check Colorbus.fr). Visiting the replica of the prehistoric Cosquer Cave is also really interesting (max 2 hours). You’ll explore the "cave" in an "exploration module"—a kind of gondola where you’re seated, so no walking required. Access is right across from the MUCEM. Best regards
