je reviens de punta cana du 24/10 au 31/10 a l'hotel h10 ocean bavaro. je voulais vous faire profiter de mes impressions si ca peut eclairer certains :
l'hotel est génial. superbe vegetation a l'interieur avec des cocotiers, plans d'eau jets d'eau avec des flamants roses canards ... donc cadre tres agreable batiments de 3 etages repartis dans tout le domaine, chambres propres bien meublées frigo avec coca, seven up et eau tous les jours. restaurant avec beaucoup de choix au buffet meme si on a l'impression de manger toujours la meme chose. sinon restau à thème c'est a dire mexicain, italien, brésilien et avec supplement :langouste au bord de la plage 35$ et restau espagnol. j'ai testé mexicain et italien menu a la carte servi a table (2 services a 18h30 et 21h00) personnel toujours tres souriant et aimable. nourriture est tres bonne.
sinon 3 piscines dans l'hotel avec enormement de transat pas de probleme de places. idem sur la plage avec parasol en feuilles de cocotiers. tous les jeux de plage : volley foot boules jeux avec les animateurs y a une bonne ambiance. petit point noir le catamaran : sur la semaine je n'ai pas pu en faire car il y avait trop de vent mer agitée meme si j'avais l'impression qu'on pouvait quand meme en faire. plusieurs terrains de tennis.
Je connais le Fiesta Resort (dont fait partie le Grand Palladium Bavaro) pour être déjà allé au Palace : c'était absolument fabuleux 😛😎🙂. Je retourne d'ailleurs en janvier dans la section Palladium Bavaro.

Au Ocean Bavaro, dans quel bloc était située ta chambre ? Et quand tu dis "chambre standard" était-elle quand même bien, c'est à dire pas trop défraichie et avec une chambre de bain correcte ? Y-a-t-il un ou des blocs de chambres à éviter si on aime le calme ?

J'étais dans le bloc # 5 pres de la piscine avec la cascade d'eau pour commencer mais la toilette coulait et le plancher a été mouillé dans toute la salle de bain, le lendemain nous avons changé de chambre et nous étions dans le bloc # 1 pres du buffet et lobby. La chambre était entierement rénovée, belle salle de bain avec céramique mur à mur .Je pense qu'il y a du bruit un peu partout mais je ne suis pas une bonne référence car lorsque je me couche apres une journée de plage je dors instantanément et même s'il y a du bruit .Je crois que peu à peu les chambres sont faites à nouveau, il y a certe de plus beau hotel pour les chambres a punta cana mais quand nous y sommes que pour le dodo c est moins important, en autant que ce soit propre.Le site exterieur est superbe en végétation.Lors de mon voyage il y a 2 semaines je suis remontée a pied par la plage pour voir le site du ocean bavaro apres l purgan jeanne et l endroit est restée aussi magnifique.Tout est intact et vraiment c'est un bel endroit .Bon choix 😄
Oui j'ai 2 enfants 5 et 9 ans .Pour ma part je vais en vacances avec mes enfants pour qu'ils soient avec moi, essentiellement nous sommes à la plage avec pelles et sceaux à faire des chateaux et se baigner toute la journée.Je n'ai jamais envoyé les enfants au kids club de l'hôtel alors je ne peux te répondre
oui très bon, justement dans les photos que je t'ai envoyé le serveur montre la langouste que tu manges à ce resto, 25 ou 30 $ us ....pour les amateurs excellent !

I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)
1. All-inclusive
2. Adults-only
3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

Hi there, I’m a 43-year-old woman planning to travel solo in early March. I’m not really into "commercial resorts," but if I find a place that fits my criteria, I might be interested. To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

The first is the Etosha National Park site: https://etoshanationalpark.co.za
You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?
