N'ayant pas de réponse de la part d'Air Madagascar pour obtenir du poids supplémentaire, nous faisons donc appel aux personnes qui auraient la gentillesse de prendre en charge 2 à 3 cartons soit environ 10 Kgs. Ces cartons contiennent essentiellement des fournitures scolaires, des jouets et des vêtements pour enfants. Mr Zou est un homme vraiment charmant au téléphone mais hélas, il n'a pu rien faire pour nous aider sinon, nous donner qqs tuyaux !
Il explique ce manque de réponses claires et directes de la part d'Air Mad' par une restructuration de la société....
A priori, ça devrait aller mieux dans quelques temps.
Nous nous contenterons donc de ce que l'on peut amener et le reste, nous l'achéterons sur place.

pourquoi ne pas envoyer simplement les 10 kg à mada par bateau, en le faisant de suite, il y a des chances que =vous l'ayez vous meme la bas, compter un mois...

Envoyer par bateau est aléatoire car en général, ça arrive à Tamatave et c'est souvent pillé avant même d'arriver au destinataire et puis, nous ne restons pas sur place, nous nous déplacerons dans toute l'île
c'est faux, ne généralisez pas, a tamatave ça a bien changé. (je vis pres de tamatave qq mois par an, l'oncle de ma femme travaille au port, aujourd'hui remanié.

My name is Valerie and I live in France. I’m a street artist—I perform street shows that blend circus and clowning. I also work as a clown in hospitals and retirement homes in France.
I’m planning to spend two months in Morocco from January 19, 2027, to March 13, 2027. I’ll be traveling in a truck, so I’ll be mobile.
I’d love to offer my time as a volunteer to perform a show that’s suitable for all audiences (kids and adults) in village squares. I’d also like to visit hospitals and orphanages as a clown.
My route will start in Nador, then head down to Merzouga, before making my way to the coast either above or below Agadir. Toward the end of my trip, I’ll return to Zagora and Merzouga before leaving from either Nador or Tangier.

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

We currently have 2 wheelchairs that we would like to give to our partner, the Benin Handisport Federation. If you're traveling to Benin, alone or with someone, we could give you one of these 2 wheelchairs (or both). Out of the 40 kg of luggage you're allowed, a wheelchair will only take up less than half. Our partner can pick it up at Cotonou Airport...

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
