Je me présente, je suis une Française vivant avec un Gabonais depuis 5 ans en France, nous avons un enfant de 4 ans.
Nous envisageons de partir nous installer à Libreville avant la fin de l'année.
En effet, mon compagnon s'est déjà rendu sur place pour plusieurs entretiens.
Cependant, je m'interroge beaucoup au sujet des démarches administratives pour un tel voyage et notamment pour le Titre de Séjour que je dois obtenir pour vivre sur le sol Gabonais. J'ai bien tenté de me renseigner auprès des secrétaires de l'Ambassade du Gabon en France mais sans vraiment trop de succès...Elles ne sont pas trés au courant visiblement!!!!
Alors après plusieurs recherches via le net je m'en remets à vous:
Est-il possible d'obtenir un titre de séjour pour le Gabon avant même mon départ?
Mon compagnon Gabonais peut-il procéder à un regroupement familial pour que mon fils et moi-même puissions le rejoindre, et cela sans être mariès?
Le concubinage est-il reconnu?
Ce qui m'inquiéte c'est de ne pas trouver un emploi sur place pendant la validitè de mon Visa et de me voir refuser un Titre de Séjour...J'ai un niveau Maîtrise de Lettres...
Bon je suis peut-etre compliquèe dans ma tête ou dans mes explications mais vous semblez bien maîtriser le sujet donc je me permets...
Je ne pense pas que tu auras un titre de séjour avant ton arrivée là bas ...les démarches sont à faire aupres du CEDOC (DGDI maintenant)...le concubinage est reconnu, c'était notre cas, aucun soucis pour la carte de séjour, mais bon ça remonte. Il parait qu'ils sont devenus plus strictes depuis ...?
Je pense que le plus simple est que ton mari parte avant et qu'il prépare les démarches et papiers à fournir.

Sinon essaye de téléphoner au Consulat de France à Libreville 00241743420 (je pense que c toujours ce n°) tu auras peut etre + de chance
ou l'AFG (Association des Français du Gabon) 775363- fax 760439, peut etre ils pourront t'aider ou te donner un N° d'un personne à contacter pour te renseigner.
Si ton mari a de l'aide sur place pour ta carte de séjour, ça ira plus vite 😉 Et comme il est gabonais il ne devrait pas y avoir de problemes...
Le visa peut etre renouvelé 90 jours de plus.
C'est pas pour te décourager mais vu la situation de crise depuis 3 jours des relations diplomatiques entre le Gabon et la France c'est vraiment mal barré... L'ambassadeur de France a été convoqué sur le champ par le ministre des affaires étrangères suite aux 2 gabonais (dont un qui a laissé sa fille en France) expulsés de France (car il y a eu violation du traité de 2002), le Gabon n'a pas tardé a réagir... Un francais s'est fait expulsé à son arrivé à l'aeroport... De plus pour courronner le tout (merci France 2 : vraiment des cons), un reportage très dur envers le président Omar Bongo Ondimba... et qui va ramasser les pots cassés : les francais vivant au Gabon...
j'ai vu ce reportage, j'ai de suite penser que ça n'allait pas plaire !!! Effectivement...!
J'ai vu aussi l'article de l'affaire dont tu parles, apres avoir posté mon message seulement ... ils parlent surtout d'expulser les français qui sont en situation irrégulière...

Oui ça m'inquiète tout ça! Je me dis que mon compagnon étant gabonais ça va aller mais je ne suis pas tout a fait tranquille malgré tout!!!! Sinon que faire? Les couples franco-gabonais doivent-ils tous se séparer et vivre chacun dans leur pays respectif pour ne pas avoir la vie compliquée!!!!! Et les enfants on en fait quoi!!!!! C les relations politiques ...ne t'affole pas trop, pour le moment c'est à chaud ...il faut laisser passer le temps et puis qd ton mari sera là bas il fera son possible pour ta carte de séjour, rien ne dit que tu ne l'auras pas, ils ne peuvent pas tout refuser de toute façon ! Le gars qui s'est fait expulsé de l'aeroport était il en règle? N'étais ce pas plutot un exemple ?

Je suis Marrhynn je suis française d'origine gabonaise. Mon cousin qui est âgée du même âge que toi vient dêtre Papa avec sa copine Perpignanaise. Leur bébé a 6 mois et sa copine ( ma belle soeur) qui a déjà été à plusieurs reprises au Gabon compte d'ici peu revenir afin de s'installer avec son chéri et sa fille; Mon cousin pour qu'elle puisse revenir à fait une demande d'autorisation d'entrée au Gabon à durée indéterminée. Ca lui a été accordée. Ils ne sont pas mariés il a du faire la demande ( un imprimé à retirer au CEDOC et à remplir) lui même en y joignant une lettre dans laquelle il expliquait qu'il s'agissait d'un regroupement familial.
Obtenir un titre de séjour depuis la France n'est pas possible. Vous pourriez par contra obtenir un visa depuis la France mais une fois à Libreville, vous aurez 1 mois pour l'obtention de votre carte de séjour.
Je pense que c'est à votre chéri d'en faire la demande. Puis, concernant le boulot, vous pourrez toujours trouver au travers d'une association B.A.L. pour "Bienvenue à Libreville" du boulot éventuellement en tant qu'institutrice. Les françaises ici qui veulent bosser trouvent facilement car ils sont très solidaires entre eux. Donc je vous rassure, vous trouverez du taff.!

les gesticulations politiques du moment vont se calmer. ET tout va rentrer dans l'ordre. Hier le ministre francais de la coopération a changé et cela a été visiblement demandé par le gabon. Bongo semble content et tout va rentrer dans l'ordre, il y a trop d'interets en jeu.
Et puis, j'imagine bien qu'il y a une petite partie des français qui se croient au dessus de tout au gabon, et peut etre au dessus des titres de séjour. Il est donc normal que ceux la soient refoulés.

après, le ressentiment anti-francais existe depuis longtemps et il n'est sans doute pas illégimite, dans le sens ou on pille pas mal de ressources la bas, et ou le niveau de vie des francais n'a rien a voir avec celui des gabonais (enfin de la majorité).
mais toi venant avec ton conjoint gabonais, ton rapport aux gabonais sera forcement différent. Donc pas trop d'inquietude.
De notre coté, nous partons en aout. Ma femme est gabonaise. Nous vivons ensemble depuis 10 ans en france, et nous partons vivre à Libreville.
Je ne suis pas inquiet pour les formalités. Il est vrai qu'il est difficile de joindre le consulat a paris. (j'avais deja eu du mal au moment de notre mariage pour avoir tous les papiers nécessaires). Je pense que je vais y aller directement lors d'un voyage a paris, ce sera plus simple., je pense.

Pour répondre à ta question, il te faudra bien un visa. Les visa en ce qui concerne les Français ne s'obtiennent plus à Libreville mais à Paris au Consulta Général du Gabon. Je te conseille de te déplacer pour en faire la demande car ils égarent parfois les documents. De plus, il te faudra pour l'établissement de ce dernier les documents origiaux car les copies ne sont plus acceptées: ( certif d'hébergement, autorisation d'entrée ... et autre doc qu'ils pourraient te demander. Attention le consulat n'est pas ouvert le vendredi.
L'autorisation d'entrée est devenu obligatoire pour les Français sinon tu ne rentres pas dans le pays. De plus certaines compagnie aérienne comme Air France ne laissent plus embarquer les pers se rendant au Gabon et non munies d'une autorisation d'entrée. En fait qd ton chéri l'aura reçue, il devra te scanner le doc et te l'envoyer par mail. Il devra t'attendre aussi à l'aéroport le jour de ton arrivée avec ce document.
Voial un peu ce que je peux te dire à ce propos.
Je te souhaite du courage et sache que les document qui t'on permis d'avoir le visa, peuvent t'être demandé à la frontière gabonaise. Alors aies les en main le jour de ton voyage.

Vous pouvez être rassurée, le concubinage est une règle quasiment générale au Gabon, et les mariages, lorsqu'ils existent, ne durent souvent pas longtemps. La délivrance des documents nécessaires me semble surtout relever de l'origine ethnique de votre compagnon, qui peut soit accélérer, soit ralentir, soit rendre impossible l'opération ! Je pense assez qu'il en est parfaitement conscient. Donc, bon courage.
