Cette association propose d'enseigner l'anglais aux petits indiens ... (entre autres) et comme je rentre en master d'anglais l'année prochiane je pense pouvoir apporter ma maigre contribution

En recherchant des missions de bénévolats sur internet on tombe des très vite sur des organismes qui "vendent le bénévolat", tel que l'association Interséjours. Il est vrai que leurs offres sont aguicheuses, ils proposent logement, visite gratuite, apprentissage de la langue et compagnie... pour la modique somme de 1500/2000 dollars !!!! BONJOUR L'ARNAQUE!!
Les offres proposées peuvent être réalisés pour un moindre coût une fois sur place. Demander leur combien reversent-ils aux petits organismes locaux, vous serrez surpris!
Je pourrais m'étendre des heures à ce sujet. Mais je préfère juste vous apportez une réflexion sur ce qu'est le bénévolat, sur cette activité qui devient de plus en plus marchande. Aujourd'hui on vous propose du bénévolat comme un séjour touristique, et non plus comme une action humaine qui vous porte à cœur et poursuit vos intérêts.
Les missions de bénévolats sont innombrables dans le monde entier, je suis persuadés que vous trouverez un contact local (qui peut être français), et qui vous donnera les bons plans (hébergement, transport pratique, visite, ...) pour la modique sommes d'un "merci". L'acte bénévole va dans les deux sens: une population vous apportera peut être bien plus que vous lui apporterez!
Bonne chance à vous dans vos recherches. Ne soyez pas trop paresseux en vous laissant aguichez par des offres toutes faites pour les gentils consommateurs. Cherchez, vous trouverez.
tu as raison pour ton coup de gueule, car effectivement de nombreux organismes ( très nombreux, et même des "connus") demandent une participation financière importante... de la part de gens qui viennent déjà avec l'idée de donner; ça rend le truc aberrant!
En l'occurrence, je cherche en ce moment, par le biais de ce forum et d'autres voies, une structure pour apporter mon aide/ participation/ action, etc. (et je ne cache pas que si ça peut être en échange de nourriture et/ou logement, je suis preneur!) en Inde. Je souhaiterais partir dès que possible; si vous avez des pistes, merci d'avance!
Et pourquoi ne partirais-tu pas à l'aventure ?
Tu vas en Inde, tu prends un bus, tu t'arrêtes dans un village non touristique de préférence, tu vas à l'école du coin et tu demandes à l'instit si tu peux venir un peu tous les jours pour faire faire aux enfants des activités en anglais.
Ca m'étonnerait qu'ils refusent, en tout cas, ça ne m'est jamais arrivé 😛

My name is Valerie and I live in France. I’m a street artist—I perform street shows that blend circus and clowning. I also work as a clown in hospitals and retirement homes in France.
I’m planning to spend two months in Morocco from January 19, 2027, to March 13, 2027. I’ll be traveling in a truck, so I’ll be mobile.
I’d love to offer my time as a volunteer to perform a show that’s suitable for all audiences (kids and adults) in village squares. I’d also like to visit hospitals and orphanages as a clown.
My route will start in Nador, then head down to Merzouga, before making my way to the coast either above or below Agadir. Toward the end of my trip, I’ll return to Zagora and Merzouga before leaving from either Nador or Tangier.

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
