bonjour je suis une petite québécoise qui aimerais partir pour l'Afrique faire un voyage d'un an pour aider les gens dans le besoin.
mon problème c'est que je ne trouve pas d'organisme, je n'ai aucune qualification excepté un dec en sciences humaines, je n'ai que 19 ans et j'aimerais partir à environ 21-22 ans, mais je crois qu'un voyage aussi long ça se prevoit à l'avance😉
je veux réellement faire ce voyage... si quelqu'un pourrait m'aider à trouver des contacts se serait très apprécié!

C'est surtout sur le plan financier que tu dois te preparer et tu as 2 ans pour ca. Maintenant mais a profit ce temps pour retrecir ton champ et voir dans quelle partie de l'Afrique tu aimerais aller, suivant tes aspirations.
Ne prends aucun engagement maintenant car on ne sait pas de quoi l'avenir sera fait.

Nous sommes une association de développement local basée dans la banlieue dakaroise et nos domaines d'activités sont l'éducation, la santé, le social, l'environnement (www.waranka.org).
Nous disposons d'un siège fonctionnel équipé d'un secrétariat pour les services de traitement de texte, d'un cyber et d'un logement pour les bénévoles. Pour l'éducation nous avons une maternelle de deux niveaux (petite et moyenne section) et deux classes élémentaires (Ci et Cp).
Nous dispensons également des cours en alphabétisation à l'intention des femmes non instruites 3 fois par semaines. Enfin nous faisons du soutien scolaire pour les collégiens tous les soirs, du dimanche au vendredi. Pour le social, nous faisons des dons de plusieurs sortes (friperies, fournitures scolaires, médicaments, etc.) que nous envoient des partenaires extérieurs.
Pour l'environnement, nous habitons dans une zone qui connaît beaucoup de problèmes pendant la saison des pluies ; nous menons des activités de lutte contre les inondations et les eaux stagnantes dans ce sens. Nous faisons également des reboisements de quartier. Pour la santé, nous avons ficelé beaucoup de projets de lutte contre certaines maladies endémiques comme le paludisme et le choléra.
D'autres activités sont également menées, comme la formation en informatique, des activités d'ordre culturel, etc.

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

Solidafrica is a recognized humanitarian association of general interest. We donate wheelchairs in Africa. We currently have 2 wheelchairs that we would like to give to our partner, the Benin Handisport Federation. If you're traveling to Benin, alone or with someone, we could give you one of these 2 wheelchairs (or both). Out of the 40 kg of luggage you're allowed, a wheelchair will only take up less than half. Our partner can pick it up at Cotonou Airport...

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
