Pour ma part, j'ai été très déçue par cet hôtel que l'on m'avait chaudement recommandé, y compris sur ce forum.On nous a tout d'abord attribué une chambre qui donnait directement sur la salle de spectacle. Nous avons donc demandé à changer de chambre, ce qui n'a pas posé de problème. Malheureusement, un des détecteurs dans la 2e chambre était défectueux ce qui fait que le courant se coupait au bout de 3 minutes : donc, plus de lumière et plus de clim !! Nous sommes donc retournés à la réception et cela a duré 3 jours !! Je pense que nous connaissons toutes les personnes de la réception : réceptionnistes, chefs de réception, chargé des relations publiques et même la standardiste (??) Très déçus donc par la qualité de réponse et d'intervention de la part d'un hôtel de cette catégorie. Nous avons demandé un dédommagement pour les heures passées à la réception mais là aussi, il a fallu batailler toute la semaine !!
Outre ces désagréments, je n'ai pas très apprécié cet hôtel : c'est vrai qu'il est beau, que l'on y mange bien mais personnellement, j'ai de loin préféré l'hôtel de l'an passé (l'Ocean Bavaro de Punta Cana) qui était de catégorie inférieure certes mais bien plus agréable : jardins, terrasse du restau, plage, piscine et ambiance plus sympa.

Si vous êtes prête à payer le prix fort et à ne pas avoir le service et la qualité en retour : tant mieux pour vous ... et surtout tant mieux pour l'Iberostar !! Pour ma part, j'estime que 3 jours pour changer un détecteur défectueux, même en République Dominicaine, c'est un peu beaucoup et ce n'est pas très sérieux.
Il me semble aussi que vous n'avez pas bien saisi l'usage de ce forum : les gens y déposent leurs remarques ou commentaires sur les hôtels qu'ils ont fréquentés afin que d'autres puissent choisir en toute connaissance de cause. Je n'ai rien lu de la sorte dans votre message...
Je pense que vous n'avez simplement pas eu de chances pendant votre séjour, et je préfère me fier à la quantité de remarques positives sur l'hôtel, car oui, je souhaite m'y rendre,
Après ce que je pense, c'est que tout ne peux pas être parfait, surtout dans les Caraibes, mais après passer des heures à la reception pour demander un dedommagement, c'est pas trop mon truc! Chacun son mode de fonctionnement!
Très franchement, je vous conseillerais plutôt l'Ocean Bavaro and Spa Resort de Punta Cana : la plage est plus belle (à mon sens) la piscine aussi vous pouvez déjeuner matin midi et soir sur la terrasse face à un magnifique petit plan d'eau (à l'iberostar, vous mangez en salle) les jardins sont également plus beaux l'ambiance est plus sympa, plus décontractée
En revanche, l'hôtel a une étoile de moins (et ça se comprend mais bon, personnellement, je ne suis pas forcément axée là-dessus), la nourriture est moins bonne et le service un peu inférieur à l'Iberostar.
Voilà, je pense que les critiques sont certainement moins bonnes pour cet hôtel mais personnellement, je garde un excellent souvenir de ces premières vacances en Rép Dom.
A vous de faire votre choix...
Je suis dejà allé en fait à Punta Cana, et je crois que je n'irais plus... Pourtant j'étais au Grand bahia principe et mon séjour m'a enchanté, (même si je préfère comme vous les ambiance décontractée aux ambiance pince cul... et au Bahia c'était quand même bien pince cul...) mais après avoir été au Lookéa Samana, qui pourtant a une étoile en moins, de moins belles chambres, une restauration très simple, eh ben j'ai préféré ce séjour... Car Samana est une région extrêmement riche et encore bien sauvage, beaucoup plus typique et plus exotique que Punta cana, et l'hôtel était extrêmement bien situé, mais comme je ne veux pas mourir idiote, 😉, je veux tenter aussi le coin de Bayahibe, c'est surtout pour ça!! Après de bons hôtels dans cette région, il n'y en a pas non plus des masses!!! Tant que je vous ai par le forum, avez vous distingué une différence entre la plage de Punta Cana et celle de Bayahibe? car l'eau du bahia n'était pas transparente, il y avait constamment des vagues, mais je sais pas si c'est du à la saison ou à la région! En tout cas, à Samama, pas de vagues et eau limpide comme du crystal, donc j'hésite quand même, même si je préfère découvrir de nouveaux endroits!!
A Bayahibe, vous êtes dans la mer des Caraïbes qui est réputée pour être une mer d'huile...Malheureusement quand nous y sommes allés (début février), il y a eu pas mal de vent et donc ce n'était pas le cas ! En revanche, je suis d'accord avec vous, je suis moi aussi allée à Samana (une journée seulement) et c'est là effectivement que j'ai trouvé l'eau la plus limpide. Je crois d'ailleurs que si je retourne en Rep Dom, j'opterai pour ce secteur qui est plus sauvage et plus préservé.
Sinon, vous trouverez également une eau très limpide à Saona.
Enfin, dernier petit conseil, évitez le Viva Windham Dominicus Palace à Bayahibe, c'est l'usine !! Il paraît que le Canoa Coral est très bien et que sa plage est un peu plus "sauvage".
Mmm... Du coup, je me demande si c'est pas mieux que je retourne à Samana!! LOL
Saona j'y suis allée, c'était très joli, mais impossible de marcher dans l'eau à cause de tous les coraux, donc j'ai pas trop aimé,
Je vais quand même regarder le Canoa Coral, mais sinon, je pense que je vais refaire confiance au lookea samana ou éventuellement au bahia principe cayo levantado..

I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?
