je viens d'aller sur le site d'hirondelle de l'avenir, les actions qu'ils font ont l'air intéressantes. Moi aussi j'aimerais partir dans une association comme celle-là. Peux-tu me dire quelles ont été tes missions là-bas? j'ai vu qu'ils organisent "des séjours humanitaires", de quoi s'agit-il??

Bonjour catherine, personellement je n'ai pas fais de mission car j'y suis allé dans le cadre d'un stage pour ma formation.
Les missions peuvent consister à donner des cours à une classe par exemple. Apel Sophie Touvenelle qui est la coordinatrice en France elle pourra bien mieux te renseigner que moi.
En ce qui concerne le séjour humanitaire, c'est enfait du tourisme ( visite des sites principaux) tout en fesant des "petites mission" à travers le pays au cour du séjour.

Salut je pense que tu as déjà eu pas mal de suggestions.Moi je suis béninois résidant à cotonou .Il y a beaucoup d'associations mais toutes ne sont pas crédibles .Mais celà dépend de tes motivations aussi et de quel aide de compte apporter. Moi je pourrai te conseiller les associations religieuses comme les soeurs de la charité qui est logé au sein de l'église catholique de sainte Rita à cotonou.
Au cas ou tu serais sur place et peut être tu as bien d'aide ou des renseignement .Je pourrai t'aider volontier car il y a souvent un fossé entre la réalité sur le terrain et les infos recueillis sur le net.

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

After 8 months of volunteering in Tanzania at a center for street children, I’d like to go back for a year in the same kind of role—this time in Burkina. We currently have 2 wheelchairs that we would like to give to our partner, the Benin Handisport Federation. If you're traveling to Benin, alone or with someone, we could give you one of these 2 wheelchairs (or both). Out of the 40 kg of luggage you're allowed, a wheelchair will only take up less than half. Our partner can pick it up at Cotonou Airport...

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
