Moi et ma cousine voulont partir à Cuba, plus précisement à Varadero en juin pour fêter nos fin de sessions!:D J'ai commencé à regarder un peu pour les forfaits (au moins un 3 étoiles près du centre-ville) et j'ai été étonnée de voir les prix qui n'étaient pas en bas de presque 1000$! En plus que notre famille nous a dit qu'on pourrait partir pour 800-850$ Est-ce que quelqu'un pourrait me dire pourquoi c'est aussi cher, et si les prix vont changer d'ici juin? Et si on serait mieux de réserver à la dernière minute?

Sincèrement pour juin, j'achèterais vraiment pas tout de suite. J'achèterai pas avant avril, même mai. Les prix seront probablement plus bas, c'est la basse saison. Il risque d'y avoir des deals d'ici là.
Quand je pars en juillet ou août, je réserve environ un mois à l'avance, pas plus que ca. C'est pas comme dans le temps des Fêtes où tout disparait très vite ou pendant la relâche. Si nous n'avez pas un hôtel précis ou vous voulez aller, attendez. 🙂

tu regardes régulièrement et quoi tu vois quelque chose à ton prix tu book tout de suite.
tu vois j'ai trouvé (et plusieurs autres forumistes) un deal avec VAR et Nolitours 930$ pour 2 semaines à Santa Lucia 4* (du 8 au 22 janvier)
tu peux être sure que j'ai booké tout de suite, car après il était à 1250$ et +++
fait des recherches de ce que tu veux tout en étant flexible
une fois celé déterminer tu regarde souvent (jeudi est bon) et tu book,
ça peut aller jusqu'en mars avant que tu trouves mais tu trouveras.
J'ai l'habitude de partir en juin pour Varadero. Attends, tu trouveras dans le courant du mois de mai (les meilleurs prix sont souvent 3 semaines à l'avance pas plus). Habituellement je paie environ 800$ pour 1 semaine ou 1100$ pour deux en occupation simple.

Au centre-ville, j'ai effectivement fait le Cuatro Palmas que je te suggère. Il y a aussi Villa Cuba qui n'est vraiment pas très loin (environ 10 minutes à pied pour aller en ville). Mais je ne suis pas tellement objective car j'adore le Cuatro Palmas, il est bien situé et à distance de marche de pleins d'endroits intéressant à Varadero. De plus, j'aime bien son personnel.
Je suis vraiment contente que tu me recommandes le Cuatro Palmas, car c'est celui qui nous avait le plus attiré:) Mais penses-tu qu'en réservant seulement 3 semaines à l'avance il restera des forfaits pour cet hôtel?
Depuis les 3 dernières années j'ai toujours acheté à 3 semaines d'avances, même 8 jours il y a deux ans. Où ça risque d'être plus difficile c'est si tu veux y aller pour 2 semaines, mais pour une seule semaine, je ne vois pas de problème. De plus, si tu es un peu flexible dans tes dates, c'est ok. Le seul problème que j'ai eu est l'an passé, je voulais partir 2 semaines et il n'y avait plus de disponibilité pour les dates que je voulais, alors je suis partie qu'une semaine. Par contre, si je me fis aux dernière années entre 4 et 3 semaines d'avances, les prix ne changent pas vraiment (pour cet hôtel du moins)
Je suis d'accord avec Suetreoda. Surveille et quand tu trouves ton prix sautes dessus.
Nous avions un spécial pour Cuba à 1 200 $ pour 2 semaines. Nous avons attendu et le lendemain matin oublie ça c'était rendu à un prix de fou. Nous avons finalement réservé pour une semaine à 995$. Mais comme ce prix n'était pas bon nous aurions été mieux d'attendre car ceux qui ont réservé à la dernière minute ont un un super bon prix mais notre agent de voyages (on a changé depuis) nous avait fait peur. C'était notre 1er voyage tout inclus. Depuis j'ai appris à magasiner.
Cela se promène beaucoup quelquefois ça monte à la dernière minute et il n'y a pas de spécial et d'autres fois c'est le contraire. Mon frère a niaisé avant Noël avec 2 super bons prix et ils ont monté de plus de 400 $.
Alors définitivement quand on trouves un super bon deal on y va et SURTOUT on arrête de regarder les prix après.

For my husband's 50th birthday, we're going to Mombasa for 10 days and 8 nights in March 2026.
I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

Hi everyone, I’m writing here because I’m really torn—I want to go on a trip. A vacation? 10 to 12 days, maybe 14 days. Starting March 14th. I’m in a wheelchair but completely independent. I was thinking of going to Martinique, but apparently, the hotels aren’t all-inclusive, which might be a hassle. If you have any advice, that’d be great. Otherwise, I was considering Mexico—a long-time dream. At an all-inclusive hotel with accessibility on one level (since I’m independent but in a wheelchair). Do you know of any nice, budget-friendly hotels with activities in Mexico? Or Zanzibar is also an option for me, same idea.

I’m tired of spending hours and hours searching for all-inclusive hotels for my first trip to Mexico to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary.
Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)
1. All-inclusive
2. Adults-only
3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

Hi there, I’m a 43-year-old woman planning to travel solo in early March. I’m not really into "commercial resorts," but if I find a place that fits my criteria, I might be interested. To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). I’m not necessarily aiming for the cheapest resort, but since it’s spring break week and everything’s already pricier, 5-star options are probably out of the question. Thanks!

We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

However, online, I’ve found two sites for making this reservation:
The first is the Etosha National Park site: https://etoshanationalpark.co.za
You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?
