J'ai prévu il y a quelques temps déjà de tenter un départ pour m'installer en Irlande, pays qui m'a toujours fortement attiré (parfois j'ai même l'impression qu'il m'appelle ^^).
J'avais commencé par planifier les choses sur du long terme (terminer une année d'étude, prendre des contacts pendant la suivante, faire un petit stage pour débuter...) mais voilà: cela ne colle vraiment pas à mon tempérament xD Engagé dans une voie "pépère peinard", procédurale, casanière, planifiée, je commence à ressentir un sérieux ras-le-bol.
Aussi ai-je décidé de tout changer avant qu'il ne soit trop tard. J'ai troqué mes études pour un petit boulot, et je n'ai pas renouvelé le bail de mon appartement qui s'achève fin juin. Mon objectif, c'est de partir à cette date, pour aller commencer une nouvelle vie, vers Dublin ou Galway pour commencer (cette dernière destination emportant ma préférence), trouver un job, et pour la suite... tout dépendra de la façon dont soufflera le vent ^^
Trois mois... c'est à la fois long et très court.
Aussi je me tourne vers vous en vue d'obtenir tous conseils utiles. Cela vous parait-il réalisable au vu de la conjoncture actuelle? Quelles formalités réaliser en premier lieu? Vers qui se tourner pour trouver relativement rapidement emploi et logement? Une ville de destination où les choses seraient plus "aisées" pour débuter et à laquelle je n'aurais pas pensé? ( ce qui laisse énormément de possibilités xD )

Pas d'attache pour l'instant (c'est bien pour ça que je ne souhaite pas attendre d'en avoir ^^), et en anglais... je me débrouille ;) (beaucoup mieux à l'écrit qu'à l'oral toutefois, n'ayant pas énormément d'occasions pour pratiquer)
tu as bien raison, on est bien trop procédurié, enfin je lis un vent de liberté!! si tu as un bon niveau d anglais effectivement fonce!! mais attention le boulot ne se trouve plus facilement! les call center diminuent tres fortement d'embaucher, les petit jobs se font de plus en plus rare... mais si tu as un peu d'argent de coté en niveau pas trop dégueulasse en anglais ça doit le faire... ^^. si tu veux certains conseilles ou niveau de la vie sur place des logement ou autres (sauf pour le boulot trop dur vraiment) n'hésite pas. Je suis là bas depuis novembre, avec ma copine, mais on est partis sans argent a la rache, et avec ma moto, on est pas mort est au contraire ça restera une experience inoubliable... qu'une chose à dire: tu n'es pas encore là? mais qu'es ce que tu fous?^^
J'estime mon niveau d'anglais à "correct" (j'écris des textes, parfois des chansons en anglais, je regarde films et séries en VO ou VOSTA, je lis les auteurs que j'apprécie et qui sont souvent mal traduits en VO, j'effectue des traductions d'articles...) mais il résulte surtout de l'apprentissage scolaire, suivi du (faible) maintient que fournit ensuite l'université en filière scientifique. Je suppose que l'anglais parlé couramment doit pas mal différer ^^'
Pour l'argent de côté, c'est pas vraiment ça xD
Hey, de corps je ne suis pas encore là, mais la tête y est déjà ;p Je diffère ma folie de trois mois principalement pour avoir l'occasion d'engranger quelques précieux euros, et par respect envers mes collocataires qui ont besoin d'un peu de temps pour s'organiser sachant que je file. ^^ Mais ce ne sera pas du temps perdu, puisqu'il me permettra de me plonger de façon plus intensive dans l'anglais, de me documenter, de rendre visite aux administrations, de commencer à chercher des contacts...
oh, tant que j'en suis aux questions, je m'intéresse beaucoup aux mythologies, aux contes et légendes... Selon les personnes déjà sur place qui pourraient éventuellement me lire, quelles seraient les meilleurs lieux pour amasser des informations "de première main" à ce sujet? J'aimerais recueillir des récits directement de la bouche de ceux qui suivent encore les traditions, comparer les versions... C'est une de mes marottes personnelles ^^

Completement faux depuis debut 2008. Ceci etait encore vrai il y a 3 ans peut-etre, mais les choses ont bien change depuis, et pas en positif. Dire a quelqu'un de ne pas trop reflechir avant de venir s'installer ou chercher du taf en Irlande dans le contexte economique actuel, c'est envoyer ce quelqu'un au casse-pipe.
L'appel de l'Irlande que tu ressens, je le comprend... j'avais le meme depuis mes 17 ans! 😎
Refflechis bien avant de venir, et sois pret a un retour en France premedite. Je ne te dis pas de ne pas venir, ce n'est pas dans mon principe de Vie de ne pas tenter les experiences. Je ne tiens pas a te demoraliser non plus, ce qui suit simplement un rapide brossage de l'actualite irlandaise a la fin du 3e trimestre 2009.
Pour moi, le pays d'Europe occidentale le plus touche par "la crise". Plus de 10 % de chomage selon les chiffres officiels de debut mars. On estime a 30 000 etrangers quittant le pays rien que sur le 1er trimestre 2009. Je te passe le nombre de connaissances irlandaises et etrangeres ici qui ont perdu leur taf et n'en retrouve pas, depuis des mois. Le cout de la vie reste toujours l'un des plus eleve d'Europe (le bon cote de la crise: les loyers commencent a baisser, et beaucoup de logements vides donc embarras du choix - bah oui, tout le monde part, forcement... - ca change!)
Il y a des VFistes qui sont en Irlande depuis plusieurs mois deja qui pourront te faire part de leurs galeres de recherche de taf, pour ceux qui persistent.
Dublin, Galway, Cork, Sligo ou autres: tous dans le meme panier, tu t'en doutes maintenant. A toi de faire ton choix de ville selon tes preferences, criteres, attirances. petite recherche sur VF pour te donner de premieres infos.
Demarches pour PPS number et autres formalites pour travailler en Irlande > ici. (si tu as des questions particulieres a ce sujet, repond sur la discussion en lien, ca peut servir a d'autres lecteurs 😉).
Pour trouver de la colloc au niveau national> Daft
pour recherche de taf : recruitireland.ie, job.ie, irishjobs.ie par exemple. Consulte les dans un premier temps, ca te donnera une idee des offres d'emploi et du marche a l'heure actuel.
Quant aux contes et legendes, je dis toujours la meme chose: les pubs du countryside, essayer de parler notemment avec les anciens, tu verras tout ce que tu apprendras sur les contes et legendes d'ici! Rien a voir avec la mythologie, mais j'ai recemment appris que le concept de "grand-pere" n'existait pas en Irlande il y a encore quelques decennies, les hommes se mariant toujours tres vieux avec des femmes toujours beaucoup plus jeunes qu'eux! C'est a dire que beaucoup d'Irlandais de 60 ans voir plus jeunes n'ont jamais connu leurs grand-peres!😮
Tableau un peu noir de la petite verte que je te fais, il est vrai. On me reprochait deja il y a quelques mois de plomber le moral a ceux qui arrivaient esperant trouver un taf sur le dernier trimestre 2008. Je prefere me faire traiter de rabat-joie plutot que de donner de faux espoirs.
Ayant ces quelques informations supplementaires, a toi de les traiter, de les prendre, de les laisser, de les analyser, et de faire ton choix. A nouveau, je pense qu'il faut tenter toute experience qui nous appelle. Si l'Irlande t'appelle, vient. Peut-etre ca marchera pour toi. Ou peut-etre tu te casseras le nez... mais apres tout, la vie c'est aussi une collection de nez recousus!😉
moi je dis quand on a rien à perdre, pas d'attache, si quelqu'un est décidé, motivé, pourquoi se poser 1000 questions, ? il faut y aller.
c'est sur qu'après c'est la personnalité, la motivation, l'expérience, la débrouillardise qui fait la différence, puisqu'on sait qu'en Irlande il y a des possibilités,
alors pourquoi hésiter puisque c'est son souhait ?

Hélas tu arrives en Irlande après l'eldorado, l'euphorie est terminée. Ceci dit ce n'est pas dit que ça ne redémarre pas, quand la crise sera passée, l'économie irlandais étant calqué sur l'économie américaine dès que ça va redémarrer au states ça va redémarrer en Irlande.
Il n'y a pas d'accente sur les clavier qwerty tu dois appuyer sur alt maintenir la touche enfoncée et tapper 130 et relacher pour l'accent aigu, alt 138 pour l'accent alt 135 pour le ç et ainsi de suite.
