Pour notre prochain voyage en novembre prochain, nous cherchons un resort pour y passer deux semaines. Nous pensons à la côte ouest du Mexique (Côte Pacific Centrale). Puerto Valarta, Manzanillo, Ixtapa sont parmis ls destinations qui pourraient nous intéresser. Petit ou grand resort...pas d'importance.
Nos critères ne sont pas vraiment compliqués. Bien sûr, nous allons choisir une chambre avec vue sur la mer. Pour la bouffe aucun problème, nous mangeons de tout et nous trouvons toujours quelque chose pour nous contenter. Parcontre, et cela est un de nos principaux critères, nous aimerions un hotel dont la salle à manger principale (buffet) donne sur la mer.
Nous aimons la marche autant sur la plage qu'en montagne donc une longue plage serait appréciée et si nous avons l'oportunité de pouvoir faire un peu de trekking en montagne, se serait idéal. Un site pour la plongée en apnée près de l'hotel ne serait pas à dédaigner. Nous faisons de l'apnée aussi souvent que nous en sommes capables.
En second lieu, nous aimons être avec le peuple, donc la proximité d'un village ou d'une ville serait aussi un atout.
Parlez-nous de vos choix et expériences, et si vous en avez le temps, nous aimerions savoir quel sont les meilleures activités à faire et surtout à ne pas faire. Il y a toujours des attrapes touristes qu'il est préférable d'éviter.
Le Catalonia Playa Maroma, situé à 49 Kms de l'aéroport de Cancun, hôtel-club isolé, "en pleine jungle" où l'on est baigné par différents chants d'oiseaux tropicaux. Dans les allées de l’hôtel on peut croiser des animaux tels que iguanes, coatis... Les pieds dans l'eau, il faut faire environ 1500 mètres sur la gauche de la plage pour trouver des rochers, et à droite une plage de sable fin et blanc à perte de vue (exceptionnelle pour la marche à pied). Cuisine variée (voir diaporama), beaucoup de jus de fruits et de légumes frais au petit-dèj. 3 restos à la carte + buffet excellent. Frigo dans la chambre. Boissons à gogo, nationales et internationales. Discothèque, animateurs jeunes et dynamiques. Jaccusi + salle de gym + massages. Possibilité apnée. Navette gratuite pour Playa Del Carmen (2 fois par jour)). Diverses excursions proposées : Chichen Hitza, Côba, Xcaret, Tulum (voir diaporama automatique en cliquant sur l'hôtel).
J'ai passé le mois de mars à Rincon de Guayabitos dans un hôtel sans restaurant mais j'ai remarqué sur la plage qu'il y avait un hôtel tout-inclus, il s'agit d'un hôtel de la chaine Décameron.Rincon est un petit village à 65km.au Nord de Puerto Vallarta et je crois que cet hôtel est offert par le grossiste nolitour sous l'appellation Decameron Los Cocos hotel.La plage est très belle et très longue et devrait répondre à la plupart des critères que vous demander.J'ai souvent vu, pendant mon séjour, des clients de l'hôtel se promener en ville avec des bicyclettes fournies par le resort.

J'ai regardé hier sur trip advisor et l'hôtel a de bon commentaires et est offert par nolitours seulement en saison hivernale (novembre à avril).
Rincon de Guayabiitos est un petit village typiquement mexicain avec vente de tacos aux coins des rues et est aussi une station balnéaire mexicaines pour mexicains en été et refuge de plusieurs snowbirds canadiens pendant l'hiver, j'y suis resté 33 jours (28 février au 2 avril 2009) et j'ai bien aimé l'endroit.
Si tu cherches un site intime, un peu dispendieux mais que tu n'oublieras jamais, je te conseille sur la côte ouest du Mexique, Los Alamandas. Clique ici pour accéder à leur site internet.

For my husband's 50th birthday, we're going to Mombasa for 10 days and 8 nights in March 2026.
I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

Hi everyone, I’m writing here because I’m really torn—I want to go on a trip. A vacation? 10 to 12 days, maybe 14 days. Starting March 14th. I’m in a wheelchair but completely independent. I was thinking of going to Martinique, but apparently, the hotels aren’t all-inclusive, which might be a hassle. If you have any advice, that’d be great. Otherwise, I was considering Mexico—a long-time dream. At an all-inclusive hotel with accessibility on one level (since I’m independent but in a wheelchair). Do you know of any nice, budget-friendly hotels with activities in Mexico? Or Zanzibar is also an option for me, same idea.

I’m tired of spending hours and hours searching for all-inclusive hotels for my first trip to Mexico to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary.
Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)
1. All-inclusive
2. Adults-only
3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

Hi there, I’m a 43-year-old woman planning to travel solo in early March. I’m not really into "commercial resorts," but if I find a place that fits my criteria, I might be interested. To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). I’m not necessarily aiming for the cheapest resort, but since it’s spring break week and everything’s already pricier, 5-star options are probably out of the question. Thanks!

We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

The first is the Etosha National Park site: https://etoshanationalpark.co.za
You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?
