Je n'ai jamais posté ici c'est une grande première pour moi, mais l'occasion s'y prete : je décolle le 10 juillet pour PERTH !
Je suis censée rester jusqu'au 10 octobre, soit 3 mois, mais je me laisse la possibilité de rester plus longtemps si envie, car j'ai un WHV !
J'ai la chance d'arriver chez quelqu'un là bas, mais je devrais rapidement trouver une collocation, apparemment ça ne semble pas trop compliqué, et également un job (je prends des cours d'anglais jusqu'à 15H)
Mon "soucis" actuel, est de commencer à m'organiser pour ne rien oublier d'emmener et de faire pour le jour J :
1) Assurance santé, , , je ne m'en suis pas encore occupé, j'ai eu des devis, notamment de ASFE, quelqu'un a t'il des infos à ce sujet ?
2) Climat : je sais que c'est l'hiver, m'enfin ça veut dire quoi concrètement en matière de température ?
3) Les trucs improbables à ne pas oublier en partant, mais que je risque d'oublier quand même (j ai déjà pensé aux prises électriques)

j'étais à Perth à cette période : j'ai eu froid ! J'avais même acheté un petit manteau et un radiateur electrique... si ça peut te donner une idée ;-). Bon, c'est pas le froid en France en hiver, mais quand même... tu ne vas pas pouvoir te baigner dans l'ocean, sorry... Par contre c'est assez souvent ensoleillé quand meme, donc les temperatures s'adoucissent vite.
De rien "delou" :-) C'est toujours bon de se souvenir qu'en Australie il ne fait pas toujours chaud.... Et oui, il y a bien un hiver !
Si tu veux des temperatures plus chaudes à cette période, direction le nord du pays.

pour le travail, je ne peux pas te dire, j'étais à Perth pour les etudes... donc je ne sais pas si on trouve facilement du boulot. Par contre, l'ambiance est très "take it easy" comme tu dis : les gens ne se prennent pas trop la tête et sont plutôt détendus. Une ambiance "vacances", toute l'année... En ville il y a surement des jobs à trouver, genre serveur ou autres petits boulots.
N'hésites pas à me contacter quand vous serez à Perth, j'y serai peut être à cette période.

Malheuresement je ne suis plus sur Perth. j'y ai passe' un peu de temps et j'ai vraiement adore'. Je suis en ce moment a Melbourne et je m'occupe d'education, donc si tu as de questions concernant cours d'anglais n'hesites pas. Quant au logement je ne sais pas sur Perth, parce que j'etais la en vacance avec un van... mais je suis sur que tu va trouver!
Au départ on voulais partir à Melbourne car la ville semblait bien du point de vue culturel (comme je suis musicien ça me paraissait une bonne option) et ça m'aurait peut-etre permis de trouver des heures de cours particuliers ou des contact dans la composition, mais les photos et le climat nous ont finalement orientés vers Perth.
Peut-etre que tu peux me donner des infos sur Melbourne et ton ressentis par rapport à la situation climatique, culturelle, les facilités à trouver un job, les logements, ...
C'est pas mal d'avoir un maximum d'infos avant de partir à l'autre bout du monde.

alors pour le logement c'est pareil... très... "take it easy" ;-)) Je te conseille évidemment la coloc, car c'est LE mode ideal de location à Perth. Les jeunes louent des super maisons avec jardin à plusieurs, beaucoup plus facilement qu'en France. En gros, te retrouver dans ce genre de maison non loin de la plage est courant, si tu cherches un peu. Il y a des annonces partout : à la fac, dans les journaux locaux (genre le "quokka", etc). Je me souviens que c'était même un peu moins cher qu'en France (enfin... du point de vue de l'Est d'où je viens ;-). Environ 200 à 300 euros par mois... C'est pas Paris quoi.
La location se fait à la semaine (il me semble que les loyers sont indiqué à la semaine). Quand j'y étais j'ai trouvé en deux seconde un super plan, sans avoir à débourser un centime de caution ou tracasserie paperasse. Je me suis juste rajoutée à la coloc de manière informelle, pour quelque temps. En fait c'était un genre de "sous loc", d'où l'absence de paperasses.
Je déconseille le logement en "college" (plus ou moins l'équivalent de nos cité U, mais en 4 fois plus cher) : j'ai expérimenté : tu te retrouve dans une mini chambre, avec obligation de manger tes 3 repas à la cantine (que tu as dû payer en avance en même temps que les loyers..... bouuuu). Donc si tu ajoutes les p'tits repas que tu te fais, forcément, à l'extérieur de temps en temps : c'est la ruine.
Perth, c'est l'ambiance de "nos vacances françaises"... mais toute l'année, le rêve. Cinemas en plein air sous les étoiles, concerts... C'est sûr, ce n'est pas aussi riche que Sydney culturellement j'imagine. J'ai lu plusieurs fois des personnes qui disent "en faire vite le tour". C'est VRAI. Mais........ ça dépend pour quoi vous y allez. S'imprégner de l'ambiance d'un quartier, avoir ses p'tites habitudes au café du coin, ça a son charme aussi. Au moins, tu n'as pas l'impression de butiner partout. Tu vis l'Australie la vraie.

Effectivement avec des loyers mensuels si peu élevés et la possibilité d'avoir une belle maison ça parait vraiment la meilleure solution.
Concernant la ville elle meme je dois avoué que je préfère une ville à dimension plus humaine, quitte à en faire "vite le tour".
De toute façon ce n'est pas non plus un village il doit bien y avoir une certaine culture (musicale de préférence) au sein de la ville.
Je ne me moquais point, t'inquiète ;-), c'était plutôt une boutade pour les australiens. Ils utilisent aussi beaucoup le "no worries".
